But the AL side will be the Yankees.

Dodgers are overrated, still an above average team and should win their division but I think they're the third best team in the NL. Starting pitching will become a major problem once the playoffs start.

The Dodgers were supposed to take the NL last year after the Manny trade and still didnt get it done. They may win the Division but when it comes to Playoff time I'm not so sure.

How were they "supposed to". Everyone picked the Cubs. The Dodgers were well under .500 before Manny got there.

When they add a closer and add more than 1 quality starting pitcher sure.

Please. The Cubs? Even if everyone did pick them we knew they were going to choke...again. After the Dodgers knocked the Cubs out everyone said the mighty Dodgers were taking the NL...didnt happen.

Ummm, they have two closers. Broxton and Sherrill. Broxton has blown a couple saves recently but he's still very good, so is Sherrill. It's a good reliable starter that they needed to be successful in the playoffs and they couldn't get it. Cliff Lee would have been PERFECT, but he went to the Phillies instead. Winning 90+ games, the division, getting into the dance where anything can happen, as a fan of the team I'm happy if all that happens.

The way it looks is either the Rockies or Giants will win the Wild Card so that means the Dodgers will either play the Phillies or Cardinals/Cubs in the first round. Of those three I can only see the Dodgers beating the Cubs, sadly.

Well holy shit, they picked them to win one series? You said once they got Manny, everyone picked them to win the NL. They were well under .500 and trailing the D-backs by many games.

The Dodgers lucked into playing in a bad division last year and pretty much won that series vs the Cubs on one swing. It takes pitching to win a pennant, and the Dodgers have none

You're right. crc is just bullshitting, the Dodgers were far from the favorites last year. Maybe a few picked them after they beat the Cubs but they came back from the dead just to make the playoffs.
