tlong, how bout Manny??? Ichiro sucks tonight. :spin

Jimcs50

tlong, tonight it was 9-0 Boston. If Ichiro had to play against Boston every night, he would get only 50 hits in a year instead of threatening to break the all time record. He went 0-4 again tonight, so he is 2-12 in the 3 games with no RBIs and only 1 run.
Manny went yard again tonight for his American League leading 41st HR.:elephant Can you say MVP?

Boston was ready to go home after being on this 10 game west coast road trip, they were spent. Seattle is still in last place, correct?:)

You are correct Jim...Seattle is in last place. They are horrible this year...with the notable exception of Ichiro. That is why it is so embarrassing for Boston to split a 4 game series with them!

Jimcs50

tlong, they achieved their objetive, and that was to sweep Anaheim and Oakland to put the wild card in the bag, as I said, they were worn out from playing 10 games in 11 nights, with the last 7 games in a row, on this west coast road trip, they were ripe to be beaten by the lowly Mariners.
