Nancy Pelosi visited a Denver health care clinic yesterday.

Compare and constrast the "manufactured" extremist right wing "astroturf" vs. the "authentic" grassroots pro-Obamacare factions.

Note Obamabots with identical HCAN posters, complete with lawn hardware.

The pro-Obamacare camp even hired some day laborers to hold up signs that they couldn't even read.

Is there any citizens gathering to support this thing. Seriously there are a ton of reasons not to have free healthcare but the one that sticks out the most is we can't afford it. It really is that simple.

We cant afford free healthcare

It amazes me that people support this clown. I'm going to say it one more time. We cant afford free healthcare.

I wonder if Pelosi will run in 2010. She will be 70. I wonder if she will win again.

Didn't Dems win last time by pretending to moderates?

Public hospitals already provide free health care, a couple 100 $B/year, and get reimbursed by county, state and federal.

When they don't get re-imbursed 100%, they fill the hole by upping their bills to insured patients and their insurers.

The problem with current "free" ER health care is that the patients wait too long, and are much $sicker and $longer to treat than if they were treated earlier. But that's fine with the free market.

The healthcares of immigrants should be covered by their own countries, which is what JohnJeff strongly believe. Once upon a time, Americans each had free healthcare which was something taken for granted but today Americans have to work their butts off earning as much as they can while still having no guarantee that their house won't get lost once they get too sick, lose their jobs or change jobs, thanks to heaps of immigrants that came to America during the past decade.

Unarguably, America was THE best country in the world in the 1990s after the cold war ended and the economy of a country became the first and probably only measurement to evaluate a country, which was accomplished by the hard-working Americans but got totally destoryed lately by the uncontrollable immigration. America always keeps her door open to immigrants, believing some of them are more intelligent and more creative than natives and can make their contributions for US, while ignoring the potential disasters caused by the acquired population explosion until the very present, which is already too late a time.

We can't afford the current healthcare system. It's the most expensive in the world (by a sizeable margin), and the Republican lawmakers' solution is to keep the status quo. We get less bang for more buck than Germany, Canada, Japan, France, Switzerland, the UK, etc. I can't believe we went from being the nation that wiped out the Nazis and sent a man to the moon to the country that's supposedly incapable of tackling any major problem. Americans like to think of ours as the greatest nation on earth; it's time we started acting like it and quit coasting on reputation.

That's great another reason the democrats want to grant amnesty to illegals so they have someone to actually go to the rallies
The democrats as a party support amnesty for illegals, impede enforcement of our current immigration laws, insist the wealth of the nation and the generosity of our social programs from welfare to college grants be given to illeglas, create sanctuary cities, tell our police forces not to question someones immigration status. Meanwhile they ask every american to question his nieghbor, family, and friends for their right to free speech, and self determination..

Because, as we all know, Mexicans can't speak English, Chump. And even if they're Americans, if they look Mexican enough, then they don't know English.

No, I was asking specifically how it was determined that the men pictured were day laborers who couldn't read English.

Either you know or you don't know.

Do you know?

From the website I got these pics from: http://www.lookingattheleft.com/2009/08/pelosi-astroturf-healthcare/

This clinic is adjacent to Denver’s day laborer pickup street, Park Avenue. Being fluent in Spanish, El Marco asked these guys “¿hablan ingles?” “casi nada” was the reply from our amigo on the left. I asked him if he could tell me what the signs said. “¿Quien sabe?” (who knows?) was all he said to me, with a big grin. I’m kicking myself for not asking them how much they were getting paid to support the grassroots.

They control it so well that they haven't been able to get the health care bill passed with majorities in both the House and Senate.

there's nothing moderate about how the Left is treating the people who show up to these events. That ships not going to sail next time. People tend to remember it when politicians lie about them call them an angry mob.

Enjoy your 2 years in power.
