Sean Marks for MVP ;)

Keep in mind with Bowen's numbers. He has spend a lot of time lately on the floor with the scrubs while the rest of the starters are "resting". He hasn't played well yet offensively in April, but Bowen had an unnoticed stellar March -- shooting 48% from 3 and shutting down just about everyone over the last few weeks.

Yes but if Marks play the whole season the numbers wont be like that. But anyway very god last games by Marks.

Kori...I pretty much credit Bruce with our last two quality wins VS LA and Seattle...if he doesn't win his matchup then we don't win those games, period. I still argue that he is used too much in games where his skills really aren't at a premium though and then gets tired when we really need him...

I think he was played extensively against the Clippers when it really wasn't necessary...

As for Marks...if you guys look, he's only played 9% of the teams minutes so I agree those numbers aren't accurate, even in the time frame of the past month...ditto Wilks...

But I think it's pretty fair to compare Marks to Nazr Mohammed....and that comparison is as ugly as it gets...and Marks gotten exactly zero playing time with Tim Duncan, as opposed to Nazr who did get PT with him.

If you guys are going by the players who have played the majority of the minutes in the past month, Brent Barry has been our best player...in every +/- category.

IF anyone doubts how much Rasho means to us without Duncan...take a look at the impact he has had in the past month...

Also of interest is the overall decline in Horry's +/-...

It's ironic because Horry has had phenomenal +/- totals this entire season, when he really wasn't playing that well...and now that he is playing well his +/- is very pedestrian...

Horry has a bigger impact when he is a second fiddle to an MVP caliber bigman than he does when he is asked to put up numbers on his own...he can put up numbers in a pinch...but he really plays off MVP bigs well, regardless of the stats he is putting up...

It shall be interesting to see if Pop goes with Marks or Mohammed in the playoffs. I'd bet he'd pick Mohammed because I doubt he has the testicular fortitude to put Mohammed on IR and admit the move was a mistake.

At this point, Marks has to be on the roster. You could make a case, and you'd really have to love Nazr, for him over Massenburg. However, Marks was the first big off the bench the past couple of nights, and he's produced very well. I think he's cemented his spot in the rotation even when Duncan comes back.

I think the battle has shifted to Massenburg and Mohammed. We'll see how that one turns out.

BTW, Kick ass job getting the numbers Whottt.

Beginning to wonder if it's going to be Wilks or Beno left off the playoff roster. Am I the oly one who thinks Beno's play, except for one or two games, has pretty much sucked since around pre-all star time?

I would like to draw attention to Wilks, showing that indeed when he steps foot into the game it is over.
