http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nfl/players/65/2549.jpg (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2549)UPDATE: Two surprise Vick destinations

Michael Vick | Falcons (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=atl) | Interested: Steelers (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=pit)? Cowboys (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal)? Bills (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=buf)? Packers (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=gnb)? Ravens (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=bal)?
NFL reporter Adam Schefter listed two sleepers in the Michael Vick (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2549) sweepstakes via Twitter (https://twitter.com/Adam_Schefter/status/3280138349): the Buffalo Bills (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=buf) and the Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal). Cowboys owner Jerry Jones previously told the Associated Press (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4354798) that he had no intentions of signing Vick. Although the Democrat and Chronicle (http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20090729/SPORTS03/907290334) found a few Bills players that would like to see the team sign Vick, BuffaloBills.com (http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/07/28/bills-not-interested-in-acquiring-vick/) quoted Bills GM Russ Brandon in late July as saying, "We do not have interest at this time. We are comfortable with our roster as it is." Then again, Bills official blogger Chris Brown (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4551) relays a rumor from the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora that the team is looking for a backup QB (http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2009/08/12/bills-exploring-qb-options/), which could mean Vick.
The Chicago Tribune (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/chi-13-mitchell-michael-vick-aug13,0,4471687.column) notes that Vick was in the Second City on Wednesday, but was speaking to kids about dogfighting, not to Bears GM Jerry Angelo about touchdown scoring. Gamers in the audience will be disappointed to learn that Vick will not be a part of Madden NFL 10 for the first roster update, as per the L.A. Times (http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-random13-2009aug13,0,5647420.story), but will be added "once he signs with a team."
Remember that earlier this week, Vick mentor Tony Dungy indicated on "Mike and Mike in the Morning" that "something's gonna happen this week." Well, the week's almost up.

Vick and TO? You might hate them, but you know you'll watch.

That is true, Cincy signs them then they have their run ins with the law. If Dallas did that, it would make their third player in the last 4 years that they would have signed who has had a recent run in with the law, Tank, Pac-Man and then Vick. Of the previous two, they are batting .500.....Johnson stayed out of trouble, Pac-Man didn't.

Um...no dude...Cowboy fans didn't come up with shit..and the Cowboys hated it..

Origins of America's Team Bob Ryan, the Vice President and editor-in-chief of NFL Films, coined this for the Cowboys in 1979. After preparing and editing the team's 1978 season highlight film he had to come up with a title for the film. He was quoted as saying:
I wanted to come up with a different twist on their team highlight film. I noticed then, and had noticed earlier, that wherever the Cowboys played, you saw more people in the stands with Cowboys jerseys and hats and pennants. Plus, they were always the national game on television.
During the Cowboys' first game of the 1979 season, a nationally televised game against the St. Louis Cardinals (which Dallas won 22-21), the television announcer introduced the Cowboys as America's Team and the name stuck.
Dallas's Hall of Fame coach Tom Landry originally did not approve of the appellation of America's Team. He felt that it would give opposing teams extra incentive to play harder.

Agreed. I hated signing that guy. I knew something was going to happen.

I wouldn't have mind the signing if Pacman kept his nose clean, but he didn't. He also didn't produce when he played. I think the fact that Pacman hasn't been signed is due more to his production on the field, then with his history. I won't say that his history isn't an issue, because I'm pretty sure that is part of the reason. However, his play on the field wasn't that good, so I can see why teams haven't picked him up.

No, murder is wrong period and if Dallas was talking about signing two murderers that would be totally different. They would lose a ton of fans, myself included. That is why I was against the Pac-Man signing. A guy was paraylzed because Pac-Man was stupid. Tank was just an idiot and was only hurting himself.

Murdering 2 people and a football team signing two players of questionable character are two different things.

Cute, I really don't give a flying fuck. Either way it's a stupid nickname for a team with a mostly Mexican fan base.
WTF? Are you racist or something? If you're an American citizen, it doesn't matter what race you are. Don't be a dick, dude. The Cowboys have fans all over the country...they have more fans than any other team, and sell more merchandise than any other team. And it's ignorant to hate a team for a moniker that they were given...they didn't make it up.

I never said ALL Mexicans are Cowboy fans or ALL Cowboy fans are Mexican. I'm someone that likes to joke around with/make up stereotypes. I'm Jewish and don't take any Jewish stereotypes personally, cause unfortunately most of them are true to some extent.

In Israel, is there a giant statue of Jason Biggs sticking his dick in an apple pie? I mean, that's the first thing I think of when I think of Jews.

http://a.espncdn.com/i/headshots/nfl/players/65/2549.jpg (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2549)UPDATE: Two surprise Vick destinations

You might hate them, but you know you'll watch.[/
