If you don't mess around and send it of right away, you'll probably get it back in less than a week and a half.

I did everything online and they hooked me up. You just have to get your own box and print out the label they provide and send it off. I didn't pay for anything.

It happen to me as well. All you have to do is contact Microsofts customer service and they will send a box for you to send it in to them. They tell you they are going to fix it, but they just send you a new updated model. After that you shouldn't have that problem again. It does take about 3-4 weeks though.

I did it last September. It took so long because they told me I had to send it in there package, because it I didn't they couldn't accept responsibility for damages during shipping. :ihit Did they not tell you some shit like that?

whats this towel trick shit? One of my bros had to send his box in and its a pain in the ass. Happens with ps3's too, tho its a yellow light-luckily mine hasn't f'ed up yet. I might have to dust off the system for mw2, otherwise ps3 only gets used for movies, no time for gaming anymore. did win some nice cash on it tho when i played.
