Nah...she loves her job and her boss. She basically gets 22 bucks an hour to do whatever she wants with little or no supervision.

The qualifications needed to become part of the game crew are very undemanding. I might just apply. :flag::flag:

lol.

She works in a whole office full of women and her boss is a woman. She(her boss) is a company vice president and she pretty much gives free reign to the girls that work directly under her.

Get ready for hard work and low pay! But it is something you get into because you love it. Some of these are good "ins" to the company though.

From what my wife says, she is one of those "cut your balls off and hand them to you" women. I'll keep my distance. :lol

Yeah...If I lived in SA I might look into one of the part time positions just to get a leg in the door. You never know what types of opportunities might open up. If anything I would give it a year and at least get to spend a lot of time close to the players. That is worth more than they can pay me.

It takes quite a while to move up, but the best way is to get into sales. If you do well in sales, you will do well overall and get many opportunities.

Hmmm......game crew doesn't sound bad at all. Must attend all home games? I'm completely down for that, even if I'm working and might not be able to watch part of the game.

:wow

What happened to the old one? I was supposed to have an interview with her like 6 months ago, but the HR person messed up the schedule. I ended of interviewing with her boss instead, but didn't get the job :(

At the time, those 2 ladies seemed to be to only one secure in their positions. They were fairly new hires and they were trying to revamp the entire department.

Hrmm, positions not listed any more. Weird.

My experience in speaking with people (although it has been a couple of years) is that if you want a real internship, as in one appropriate to your education and desire to learn in your field, then these are not the way to go.

These jobs are for losers (minus the community dev one), I had one of these positions in HIGH SCHOOL.

All those crew jobs pay minimum wage, I think. And it used to be that the game operations intern got paid $500 a month for working over 40 hours per week.

Yeah, the listing's gone. I was going to look it over for RG (he has a MAcy and auditing experience), but he really likes his current job.

He will make at least 50% more anywhere else in the world he would work. It might be fun to say who your employer is, but they count on that compensating for ridiculous, below market compensation ... I interviewed for a similar position there and it was almost insulting what they offer, based on the experience they require.

That's what I've heard. It surprises me they'd try to save a little on payroll at the lower end when it's a drop in the bucket compared to the other employees' salaries.
