You must be watching a different game than I am.

Manu's had a great game. Tony had a great first half.

Well after some games of sucking doing better usually boosts up your confidence.

manu did not play that great in the first half

Manu plays good when it matters (the fourth).

Unfortunately, that's when Tony seems to go hide in a hole somewhere.

Tony's had a great game. Who's penetration do you think Bowen got all of those shots in the 3rd quater? Scoring is not the only facet of the game, especially for a PG. Some of you need to learn to actually watch the game and not just the stat sheet.

"Scoring is not the only facet of the game, especially for a PG"

As shown by Jason Kidd tonight - he only took 6 shots on a 4pt 9 reb 17ast game. However, Tony just didn't hit his shots after the first half today- that's the difference.

Manu will be toast tommorrow. I'll bet he sits. Thanks, Argentinian, and here's another :flipoff for Sequ.

I thought Tony played excellent in the first half, well in the second, and terrible late. He had a chance for the last shot, and dribbled too much into the defense. That out of bounds play where Horry got stripped was ALL on Tony. If he triggers the pass to Horry, he IMMEDIATELY steps in bounds and DEMANDS the ball. Instead, he kind of just floated back towards center court, and left Horry hanging.

Parker has 28 and 10 and he was horrible.

You people suck.

Ginobili was fantastic in the game, but you could tell was shot in the 2nd ot, who could blame him.

A big thanks for nothing to

hats off to Barry for the assist to Horry on the 3 ptr, but I would still like to see Barry do better on the shooting end. 1-5 what the fuck is that, why is Barry so afraid to shot himself out of the slump he's in?

Oh ..now it's when it matters and not the whole game?
If Parker had not put up his points in the first half, there would be no second half to play. They would have been so far down in the second, Pop would have rested Manu.

Tpark, how can you say "big thanks to Beno" when his coach doesn't give him the run to make an impact?

... I'll take the fifth on that one LOL Nah, I honestly wanted us to win, plus the bet was not conflict with the spurs winning so I got both! I knew Manu was going to have a good night tonight, I just didn't know HOW good ! lol

Brent BarryYou really cant call out Beno, Pop only played him 1 min

Actually, Beno played one minute, anmd Wilks played four. I wouldn't even beat up Barry if he played less than 5 minutes. He deserved the brickbats tonight, though, since he played a meaningful 5 seconds in the second OT, and a snoozer 19:55 seconds the rest of the game.

Some people only look at the total points 20 at the half 27 for the game he sucked in the 2nd.half.I think TONY had a great overall game.some people don't see it that way, some people think that basketball is just about scoring points.

Beno only played one minute because he came in, fucked up on D, and was pulled out.

the kid for some reason was starting to pull out of his funk in march, then just fell back into it.

I would entertain trade offers for him this summer.

Kori Ellis
04-10-2005, 02:01 AM
There's no reason to trade him now when he doesn't make any money -- you won't get anything back.

T Park
04-10-2005, 02:04 AM
you cant trade him when hes a FA so thats not the point.

You package him up with a Nesterovic or or Him Rasho and Barry and get someone else.

Im sorry but Udrih just wont improve on D, he just doesnt have the body, or the speed for it.

Kori Ellis
04-10-2005, 02:06 AM
Well I don't think the Spurs are even close to giving up on him. He's 22. Usually Euros take at least a season to get accustomed to playing D in the NBA. He has a lot of attributes that Tony doesn't have -- so keeping them both eventually gives them best of both worlds.

You aren't looking for an all-nba first team defense at backup point.

You're looking for a guy to spell your starting PG for 10-12 minutes a game and hold the lead at or close to the margin it was at when he came in.

Beno's got a great little mid-range jumper that (IMO) we don't utilize enough in our offense, and he has great court vision. Hard for him to prove it when he's on the bench though.

Pop won't ditch Barry, Brent's his new "project".

MannyIsGod

Ditch Beno? WTF?

Pop will ditch Beno when you ditch all of your jerseys. In other words, NEVER>

of course not.

Like I said, hes ok, but hes sucked buttt for the past almost 3 months.

I wouldnt be suprised if he IS benched, but I wouldnt be for it, because then IMO your no better off than you were last year at this time.

So are we gonna be seeing Barry running the point some in the playoffs if Devin comes back healthy? Pop really does seem to be souring on Beno who seems to have caught a slight case of Brentitis.

Aggie Hoopsfan

Have you ever heard of the rookie wall Tpark? Fuck man, what's the most # of games Beno's ever played in a season overseas? 40?

Do you think Manu will play tonight? I think he will sit against the warriors. I would play Nazr, Marks, Beno, Robinson a lot and see what they can do and give the other players some rest.
