I have always wanted to go skiing, never been, so I'd probably go to Denver. Plus I hear the hiking and rock climbing are excellent there. Plus it looks beautiful...

Within the confines of the US I think I've been pretty much everywhere I care to go. But I love NYC, it never gets old, so that's where I would go.

hmmm....

I'd like to spend a month or so in the Florida Keys fishing, diving, and hanging out at the local bars at night.

I'd like to spend a month or so in Alaska....maybe rent a boat and explore the coast, fish for salmon and halibut...maybe go back in country for a horse back pack trip...

San Antonio - Spurs playoff game
Chicago - Cubs series (Was there in '92, want to go again with my old man)
Oakland - Raiders game v. KC (Assuming the Raiders are actually good, I'd like to take my grandpa, who is an original fan)
Boston - Red Sox game @ Fenway (Historic park, want to go there once)

As far as non-sports related vacations...

Lahaina, Maui - Been there twice, want to go again in my adult life
Vegas - Never been. Probably going next year
Lake Tahoe - Used to go there as a kid every year. Would love to go again.
New York - Spend a couple weeks doin fun shit. Would have to go to Cooperstown.
LA - Haven't been there in many years. Would like to go as an adult
Seattle - Been there many times but I've yet to see Jimi Hendrix's grave.
Washington, D.C. - All kinds of shit there I'd like to see.

That's about all I can think of for now.

Have you been to The Experience Music Project|Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame? Cool place, cool building.

Nope. Was going to go but I thought the admission price was bullshit.

I've been fortunate enough to see a large amount of the country, but one place I've always wanted to go is Seattle.

I'm on the Seattle list, too. I've never made it there, but have always wanted to go and have been told by countless friends/family members how much I would like it there.

I would also like to take a longer trip to Chicago one of these days. I've loved it the times I've been through, but have never been there for longer than 24 hours at a time.

Alaska would be cool to see, too.

And, of course, tons of places that I've already visited and would like to return to, but those would be at the top of my list if I were looking for a new experience.

I lived 30 minutes south of Seattle for 7 years. It's a great city, and it lives up to 'the Emerald City' nickname. If anyone is bothered by gray, gloomy weather don't plan on living there. But I highly recommend visiting. Lots to do and the natives are friendly.

Doesn't going to a city negate the reason of a vacation?

White water rafting on the Snake River. I had a blast when I went almost exactly 7 years ago.
Yes! That is something to do on a vacation. Or staying at Timberline Lodge, Disney World, etc.

City, Hell No!

Suburban communities outside a city... Yes!
