Hey guys, I'm back. I was away for 3 weeks on vacation to Iran. It was a good time, although I'm afraid I might have AIDS. I would advise avoiding women in third world countries, but alas. What's done is done. Should I get tested? I dunno, you tell me. But, as to not worry, let us switch the subject to our beloved Mavs.

Indeed, I think we all should be pleased with the offseason, but you get a sense the guys in blue are a good team, but not a contending team barring an alignment of stars. Of course, we are 2nd in the West, w/ the addition of Marion allowing us to surpass Denver... we were already better than the Spurs and Blazers, as the 9-3 record v them last year shows... but how to get past the Lakers?

The contracts like Buckner/Gooden/Dampier make you think perhaps the Mavs have another trade left in them, or at the very least have the capacity to do so. Who is on the radar I ask? What is the target? I would like a wing (non-superstar) player who can drain the three and an addition to the front court (center). What centers are out there though? Dalembert? Kaman? Camby? Nobody?
