Do you think Hitler was controlled by business? Or do you think Hitler controlled business?

Govt has the power and the guns. They don't take orders from anyone. If you want to survive under large central authority and power, you play their game. Hitler wanted the VW bug...business obliged. If they want money and support, you give it to them...or be attacked by them. Insurance companies are about to come under that attack.

There is an easy solution...you decrease the power and control of the central govt, and people wont get extorted, or need to pay them to survive. If the central govt doesn't have the power to destroy you, you don't need to bribe them to survive any longer.

"but...but...then the companies will rape us all!!"

When Walmart and Sears can confiscate my money, put me in jail, sic the IRS on me...if I don't buy their products...then I'll fear business as much as I fear govt now.

Until then, I'll fear the people with the guns, regulatory and confiscatory powers. Not people providing goods and services.

You're so fucked up. The power is $$$, and the corps have the $$ to buy the govt they want.

Govt controls the corps?
The corps are afraid of the govt?
Do you work for Murdoch? :lol

Yes. I'm a corporation afraid of the government.

I have competed (and several hundred other company's like mine around the country), and done well against insurance companies for 25 years.

I think we are a thorn in their sides; they have not been able to beat us; when taken as a whole, we cost them serious $$$$. They have tried to buy us (I have offers to sell on the table right now); they have tried state legislation to beat us, but ERISA has precluded that.

Now, in the 1200 page HB 3200 - there is language that ends me, and my peers. I can't compete against that.

Do I think the corps had a hand in getting that in there? Absolutely.

But without a willing, powerful govt. to PUT it in there, along with idiot lemmings such as yourself to mindlessly support WHATEVER expansion of government is proposed - regardless of which citizens rights get trampled; it wouldn't matter WHAT the corps wanted.

You're not some champion of the masses; you're just a whiny exploited, idiot little bitch.

Hitler's the cliche choice to show facism, which is funny, because he's really not. He was definitely a totalitarian ass-wipe, but he's not the premiere example of facism people hold him up to be.

Try his partner in crime Mousalini. Hitler was a totalitarian socialist. Mousalini was a facist.

When absolute power is given to any one entity (corporate or government) it breeds contemption, coruption and greed.

It's the SINGULAR important message our founding fathers (both corporate and peasant) preached, protested and derived into the greatest constitution ever developed.

We have degraded ourselves of that constitution to only be self serving to our selfish means and nothing short of another revolution of principle such it was in 1776 will reverse the trends now being practiced today.

Lord help us who truly want to be free of this contentment and abuse. I pray for Your devine intervention and provide all who look to be self sufficient from the bondage that our government and greed now (and in the future) wants to impose upon us your faithful beleivers.
