Rockets agree to terms with Pops Mensah-Bonsu

HOUSTON (http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/nba/090820_rockets_agree_mensahbonsu#) - NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports Thursday the Houston Rockets have reached a verbal agreement on a contract with free agent forward Pops Mensah-Bonsu, who has yet to sign the deal.
Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey, who has not been available for comment, has been working this off-season to add depth to his front court with Yao Ming out for the year because of injuries and Dikembe Mutombo has retired.

I would guess that someone is gonna be traded, or cut, since that puts the roster at 16

I think he left because he thought he wasnt needed because Raptors signed Rasho Nesterovic.

Once the Raptors traded for Johnson, Pops days as a Raptor were over. He really liked Toronto a lot, and I wish him well in Houston.
