We went in for our big anatomical ultrasound today. Based on what the tech told us (we don't have the final report yet, probably not for a week or so because a perinatologist reviews it and then sends it to my midwife), the baby looks healthy.
According to my ticker in my sig, I'm just shy of 20 weeks. The first ultrasound I had placed me a little further back (closer to 19 weeks even) and that is supposed to be more accurate, but the baby's growth/development placed me further ahead (just over 20 weeks) according to the OB I saw for some complications recently.
So today, the femur length (supposedly very accurate) measured the baby at 21 weeks.
The humerus measurement put the baby at 23 weeks and 3 days.
Wingspan, y'all. Maybe all our basketball love won't be in vain . . .
