And that took me all of 5 seconds.

It would have been news in 2004. Now, it's a book review. Tom Ridge has a book to sell, who's vouching for his version?

Actually, you two dickwads, if you'll go to www.foxnews.com (http://www.foxnews.com), scroll down to politics, it's the lead bullet.

That took less than 5 seconds

Somehow I doubt you thought very highly of him before today.

How convenient. A man of principle would have raised the issue at the time. I'd be willing to bet this claim is a whole lot more, how do Democrats say?, nuanced that it sounds like here.

People can "feel" pressured when they're not. It's old news. Besides, the Bush administration has been accused of worse things that weren't true than this. Have fun with it and Tom Ridge.

I am a Persian Gulf War Vet and he is a Vietnam Vet......I have ALWAYS held Tom Ridge in high regard.

......has he done something bad I don't know about?

Ah, you're pulling the "I'm a vet" card. I guess I can't say anything to that, can I?

Jeremiah Wright is a vet. Do you hold him in high regard, too?

No, but I bet you were able to overcome your intense vet love and hate his guts when he was at Homeland Security. You seem like the type.

Tom Ridge is all you need to vouch for Tom Ridge....My God, you are a moronic dipshit.

Three posts, you say there is a story, but you cannot source it?

Yoni sources it for you, and it's even a non-story. Ridge says he's not discussing it till after his book comes out.

You know, publicists really know how to market books, and you are falling hook-line-and sinker for it.

Administrator... can we have a spam block on AntiMVP please... My God. Three threads!

This is a good point. I think the "I'm a vet" card only works if it's an issue that's currently affecting the military, in a specific fashion. As in, if you're pushing for a war and have never served, you should at least make sure to very carefully review if there are any other options.
