I have been shopping around and still not sure what I want. Do you guys recomend a body lift or suspension lift? How about a leveling kit. I dont really want anything massive like a stage 2 6' lift or anything like that.

I run 285's on my Chevy HD just by cranking up the front end a little...you can pick up a couple inches without affecting the alignment. IMHO that's tall enough.

Thats what I was thinking about. Getting a 3" leveling kit and I heard it doesnt mess with anything. I think this is all this guy did with his.

LOL why did I know you were going to respond to me. I actually was expecting it but I knew you had a truck. What size wheels you have?

The problem is that if you do a body lift you run the risk of it looking awkward because the body is sitting high but the frame and suspension are low. If you keep it under 3'' I think you might be okay but I would still recommend a suspension lift because it looks better. Plus you go trail riding you'll have the proper clearance.

16's. You don't need a lift kit to run 285's. There is enough vertical adjustment in the stock suspension to get fender clearance.

True, I was thinking about 4.5" lift but for like a few hundred bucks more you can get a 6". Only problem is I park in garages a lot so dont know what im going to do.

What kind of truck is it? 2wd, 4wd, independent front suspension, solid front axle? If it's a tundra 4wd, I am not too familiar with toyotas.

Don't do a bodylift. They look so ugly.

Yeah thats true I have 285's are optional tires listed for me. My truck has stock 18's so I think im going to go with 20" wheels and then go up to 295's or 305's.

Yeah but if I get the leveling kit I might be able to go over 305's

I thought it said life questions.

I still haven't bought a truck yet. The one I want though already has a lift on it. GMC Sierra Texas edition.

I am debating on getting the Denali though as opposed to just the regular Sierra.

You should drive a Tundra, makes a Titan look like a S10. How much is that TX ed?

just take the suspension out. it makes it lighter, thus saving gas, saving the wear and tear on the engine and tires, and makes it faster.
