The episodes definitely aren't as good. Don't know if they are running out of idea or hwhat not. Last couple of season have been pretty weak, though.

I think Chef's weak lil tantrum and departure may have SOMETHING to do w/ my indifference to him now. :td

:wow Fuck Isaac Hayes. The hipocrite bastard sat around for almost 10 years while they make fun of every other religion, nationality, and belief then suddenly gets offended? I guess during his tenure he never really got to know the kind of people Trey and Matt were.

And BTW, they really did do him justice by ultimately blaming "The Super Adventure Club" (or Scientology) at the end of the episode when Kyle talked about all the good memories they had in South Park (which was obviously a metaphor for real life).

they showed an old episode of south park yesterday that was ten years old, the one where cartman dresses up as a tooth fairy...i literally laughed out loud every other line. It was gold. They just don't make them like they used to.

I agree that South Park used to be a lot better. I find myself bored in the middle of epesodes these days. That use to never happen. I'm not saying that it's less funny (I tend to watch cartoons for storylines. Weir,d I know) But the stories used to be a lot more engaging.

I'm more curious about adults that don't watch it. Nothing on radio or TV can match the commentary on society and politics as much as south park does. If you have to give someone 10,000 years into the future one thing to demonstrate how we live, nothing will match a south park dvd.

The cop-side-story got old after the second scene of it.

Towards the end it was just filler. I hate when SP does that.

Hey Panda I don't think that was the episode they were fighting in. They were fighting in Jimmy's introductory episode when they were in camp with that gay camp counselor. Remember Timmy was jealous because all the people in South Park started giving Jimmy all the attention as the new handicap kid in town. That was season 5. Season 8 was the steroid episode. I thought there were some parts of last night's show that were amusing, but they didn't necessarily make me laugh. Well, other than Cartman's Lady Gaga performance. That was hilarious.

This season has just been too big, so far. They need an episode or two that just focuses on the boys at school or something like that. The closest they've gotten so far was the episode with Butters as a pimp, which has been the funniest of the new episodes, but even that had the second story line with the cop and the ACORN references and everything else. There are a ton of regular characters we haven't seen yet this season.

Alright guys really quick just off the top of your head what is one or two of your all-time favorite SP episode/s. My two are:

1) Steroid episode with Jimmy (partly in fact that was the episode that caught my attention and got me started watching SouthPark

2) Grey Dawn- (country kitchen Buffet) :lol

Holy crap! Easily the funniest episode in a long while. The first gem of the season IMO. I also love the 2 Clockwork Orange references. "The ole in out" and the "Are we clear?" and then Cartman goin off with "as clear as..."

If anyone didn't like this episode then you're being way too judgemental and picky and must be expecting "World of Warcraft" episode material every week.

I chuckled exactly once during the whole episode: when Butters complained that he didn't want to have to buy a Batman costume. That's it. I think they were so focused on being clever that they forgot how to be funny. There was plenty in the episode that should have made me laugh, but the humor just felt... off, somehow.

I think they've just run out of surprises. It doesn't feel fresh anymore. But you can only sustain that for so long and I think 10 years is a pretty damn good run.
