anyone want to help contribute? i will be adding a section for Bowen fan art and you will be able to upload your own photos of your art and or you and Bowen together photos. a bunch of other stuff.
if you also want to contribute in another way like blogging or helping to keep Bowen news on the front page, let me know!
i just pretty much want to design the thing and get it going so the good people at the AT&T center can realize what type of "demand"(haha) there is out there from Bowen's fanbase to get his jersey up in those rafters.
PM here or

There has never been a better perimeter defender in the history of the Spurs/Chaps. I wonder if the Spurs would have been able to win the 3 championships '03, '05 and '07 without #12....seriously wonder.
Bruce was what KC Jones was for the Celtics during their dynasty. Similar numbers, too.

koriwhat, love the enthusiasm behind this effort but come on bro, they're retiring his number for sure so there's no need for the website. The only question is, this season or next season.

Yeah, I don't really think there's much chance that anyone else will ever wear #12 for the Spurs. The retirement of #12 in San Antonio is a foregone conclusion; it's been obvious for a while that #21, #9, #20, and #12 are each seeing their last users.

i already know this! in the rare case that bowen visits the site once it's up and running hopefully he will see all the love his fans really have for him not only for his contributions on the court but off the court and in the community he helped too.
it's more of a "thanks for everything you gave to us bruce, here's a little back" type of thing.

What Spurs fan wouldn't want his jersey in the raftors or even retired for that matter?
Bruce you were the man on this team for so many years. Not to say the others weren't...but your defense and spot on 3 point shooting at some of the most critical times in Spur's runs of the past....if it weren't for you we wouldn't have been enjoying those championships.

It will happen eventually but not this season-- especially when this is the year to focus on David's enshrinement in the HOF.
