I can't really tell... watching the game on a Stream from a blog cuz I don't have Telemundo.

It kinda sucks but it's decent.

?

didn't you just see it on TV?

Mexico is tied with Hondoras I think.. if not with Costa Rica but Mexico has edge somehow.

I didn't see it on TV. I had changed it to college football right quick and started thinking about points. I thought USA had 10 before today, Honduras had 10 before today, and Costa Rica had 13 before today, and Mexico had 9. I thought it was 13, 13, 13, 12.

They just clarified... Yeap Mexico is 3rd.

Standings before this game:

Costa Rica, 12
Honduras, 10
USA, 10
Mexico, 9

After this game:

Honduras, 13
USA, 13
Mexico, 12
Costa Rica, 12

Mexico is seeded third because they have scored more goals than Costa Rica, the same with Honduras and USA. Goal difference is going to be important if there is a tie between third and fourth.

Update:

USA 16
Mexico 15
Honduras 13
Costa Rica 12

Cuaoh with some great flop skills.

I fuckin hate the fact that he's playing... seriously.

He's a fuckin idiot.. I hate his character and overall skills... he's a good passer.. but wtf is he doing on the field with better players on the bench

I was scratching my head too. He's got a great touch but he's slow, old and can't do much else but set up teammates and kick the PK's.

Which just happened to be enough on a day when the opposing team's strategy was to clog the backfield. Besides, some of the opportunities that Blanco created weren't taken advantage of by some of Mexico's less experienced players, who should have taken (grounding) shots on goal from afar on a day the pitch was wet. Even Aguirre was harping at players like Castro and Juarez for not taking advantage of the double and triple teams that Cuauhtemoc fielded all night....

Personally, I don't like the fact that Blanco instigates confrontations... he nevertheless managed to get into the Honduranians heads... to the tune of 3 opposing yellow cards.

In the end, you leave him in the game because he seems unaffected by the pressure of the game... No one else on Mexico's side would have had the confidence to score 'a simple' PK, one with so much weight...
