I'd rather use it to get someone who is still one of the best defensive linemen in the business, as opposed to another DB or WR who has a 4.3 40-time.

I'll bite...why isn't Snead being talked about as a heisman candidate? Why are McCoy's stats a LOT better..why has McCoy won more games? What exactly makes you believe Snead is better than McCoy, not counting the fact that you are an Ole Miss homer?

dirk4mvp

Right because all of your posts about any subject are completely objective.

There's quite a few qb's who can look good playing against big 12 defenses (lol jason white)

And posting a picture of Homer Simpson might've been funny the first 4 times you posted it directed at tlong.

You calling someone a homer is about as redundant as it gets.

Ah..I see...so even though ALL stats show that McCoy is better, the fact that Big 12 defense hasn't been phenomenal in the past is your reasoning that Snead is better than McCoy? Come on dude...that's just ridiculous.

Inflated stats in a rather weak defensive conf. and wins playing on more talented teams are the absolutes when it comes to who's better?

No..that's not what I'm saying...I'm asking you to show me what makes you think Snead is better than McCoy. That's all I'm asking. Otherwise, it's an opinion. You do this a lot..you state your opinion as fact..it's not a fact.

Ok so we're not counting stats and wins as far as who's better right? THEN WHAT'S YOUR LOGIC BEHIND THINKING SNEAD IS BETTER?!

That's all I'm saying. Not getting into an argument with you, Dirk...just want to know what makes you think Snead is better....and not just because you're a fan of Ole Miss.

Look, I don't care for either fella, but while on the one hand you would figger Snead would have been starting over McCoy is he WAS better; however on the other hand you see how Mack handles the whole Chrissy/Major thing and sorta shake your head.

Snead did look like crap until the 4th against a very VERY average at best Memphis D. He also doesn't have the weapons around him McCoy does.

Personally I think McCoy is a better college QB and Snead will make a better NFL QB.

I thought this was funny from walterfootball

Colt McCoy shouldn't be a first-round prospect, but he happens to be a great fit for Kansas City and Denver's offense, which requires its quarterbacks to play out of the shotgun, maintain no arm strength and not make reads.

So I have this question that I thought since that very play happened.

We know that when a ball is on the ground and a person out of bounds touches it, its a fumble. If a baseball player catches a ball while standing in foul territory, it is foul. If a basketball player is in bounds and an out of bounds player touches him, it is out of bounds on the toucher.

So why was Crabtree not out of bounds when a UT player who was clearly out of bounds was holding his jersey?

As a Horns fan, I would love for this philosophy to make sense, but it does not. First off, if a baseball player catches the ball in foul territory, it's an out. Second off, the football philosophy won't work because both the football and the player in control of the football is in bounds.

Switzer wears orange in Pickens' game suite

STILLWATER — Former Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer watched Saturday's game from the luxury suite of T. Boone Pickens. Switzer was actually clad in an orange shirt.

Several months ago at a charity function, Switzer submitted a bid on a prize that included a seat in Pickens' suite. Because OU was matched on Saturday with Idaho State, Switzer chose to watch the Houston-OSU game.
