- Nate Diaz (10-4) -265 vs. Melvin Guillard (22-7-2) +205 It's win/win, since I hate both of these douche nozzles.
- Gray Maynard (7-0) -290 vs. Roger Huerta (20-2-1) +230 I REALLY like Huerta's game.
- Nate Quarry (11-3) vs. Tim Credeur (12-2) Love The Rock.
- Carlos Condit (22-5) vs. Chris Lytle (27-17-5) It'll be great to see Condit lose. I hate that shit dick.

Preliminary Card:
- Steve Cantwell (7-2) vs. Brian Stann (6-2) Stann was an overrated joke from the get-go, always happy to see him lose.
- Ed Herman (15-7) vs. Aaron Simpson (5-0) He's due, right?
- Sam Stout (14-5-1) vs. Kyle Bradley (14-6)
- Chris Wilson (14-5) vs. Mike Pyle (17-6-1)

Trout: You want Diaz and Guillard to win, or you calling a no contest?

And to the "picks"

Diaz
Maynard -- please disfigure Huerta
Quarry
Condit
Cantwell -- make Stann rejoin the marines

Edit: Forgot I even watched that fight with Herman. How memorable.

It actually looked like Guillard had progressed, he was slick with the head movement, and then he reverted to rocks for brains.

Go figure..

Big props to Credeur and Quarry. I actually thought Credeur would win, and he actually looked the better fighter, but there's no substitute for good 'ol power. Great entertaining fight.

I'm not real sure how Maynard scored 30-27 on two cards, though. Huerta looked to have won the first, got dropped in the second but, overall, turned out to be a pretty even round, and Maynard got the third. Close fight, but I'm not too sure about the scoring.

I'm not sure I've seen Ellenburger before but he impressed me. It looked like he gassed, which makes sense with the effort he exuded early and it being his UFC debut, but he's got some nice tools and some definite power. Good win for Condit, but not all that impressive or a statement to the rest of the division.

Oh, and can't the UFC do something about the D-Baggery of Goldberg and Buffer?

I just can't understand how Goldberg somehow hit puberty after the age of 40 and that Martinez isn't the brother Michael Buffer. Bruce looks and sounds like he'd be the spawn of Vince McMahon.

I never mentioned this, but i really hate bruce doing the intros. he just doesnt do it for me, he gets me depressed rather than excited. I always mute his introductions and I think they are flat out horrible.

Great fights all around...

What a display of chins…Credeur, Quarry, Condit, Huerta, Diaz…

Ellenburger impressed the hell out of me.

Huerta made it closer than I expected. How did he not tap (or get hurt) from that Kimura?? WTF!!??

Surprised that Larson and Cantwell lost…

Have to agree with you here. Even to the untrained eye, that was a 29-28 fight.

Nobody gave Credeur a chance; he nearly had a big upset several times. Nate's face looks like ground chuck this morning. Easily fight of the night, in a night of pretty good fights.

Ellenburger surprised me. Didn't give him enough credit, I guess.

Yep. I'm not even sure Maynard won the fight. I saw very little from him the entire way. One thing I noticed is that he never initiated stand-up. He was always just waiting for Huerta to throw, and trying to counter him. Maynard fought scared and took almost no initiative, other than the kimura at the end. I thought the fight was dead even, if anything. Sitting on top of someone without even throwing a punch should not get you any points.

One thing i noticed is that good lord, Huerta has some quick hands...Dude would throw like 5 punches in a blur...couldnt tell wtf just happened.

My wife loves Huerta, she was sad to see him lose, as we are pretty sure thats the last we will see of him in the octagon.

His performance was good, but the UFC and him are not on good terms likely since he didn't want to re-sign. IF he wants to fight again, he may have to come back in smaller shows..

He outwrestled him in the 3rd round, basically just dry humped him until he got that late sub attempt. He lost RD 1 and only got rd 2 because Roger got caught with one good shot that put him down. Other than that, he was outworked on the feet. It was a SD..

I never said he was ready, but he deserves a title shot at this point just as much as fitch did when he got St. Pierre. Maynard is 7-0, should be 8-0 if it werent for the fluke NC with Emerson.
