Parker played 100 minutes in 2 days, having only 1 day to rest. Will popovich take the same strategy as he sat down manu? BEsides, it's portland the next team the spurs play against. :rolleyes

In my opinion, I would start with parker but make him play only 20 minutes, I want him to have some rest and don't get injured

His game-to-game stamina doesn't seem to be a real issue -- it's more of a problem in-game. You're right about the increased chance of injury, but Beno and Wilks aren't really cutting it right now.

Best scenario is that Parker starts but the Spurs can blow the Blazers out and Beno can play more than TP.

^^^ what he said.

After the division is clinched, then you start playing Parker about 15 minutes a game resting him.

Let him sit out practices in a whirpool.

Parker is young and and still have fresh legs,,, you dont have to sit him out,..... but it would be a good reward for playing so much and so good this past weekend. He was great

Hey Im glad the chic is gone and now he can be
more focused on his game as we head into the playoffs.

But if I were Tony I would call her up after we win the title.
He can stay in shape over the summer.

Rest Tony. Start Beno and get him back into his game.

Portland has "unofficially" gone on vacation. They shouldn't put up much of a fight. I would limit TPs minutes to about 25-30. Spurs should win easily.

She was at the GS game.I think she is still a Spurs fan but I hear that he
is not with her anymore, I dont care just as long as he
keeps playing like he did the other night.

We thought Portland was on vacation last time too.

Portland is a really bad team that has given up...but that doesn't mean the Spurs can just mail it in...because some of their guys, like Pryzbilla, do show up to play and can put a hurting on the Spurs.

I think the guys we need to worry about resting are Bowen and Horry...those guys logged almost as many minutes as Tony did and they are both getting up there in years...and Horry has a lot of miles on him, even when compared to other 30 something players he has a lot of miles on him.

We'll need Bowen in particular against Memphis...he's the only guy on the team that can stop Bonzi...and Bonzi is always a pain when we play Memph.

I agree with Whottt...hopefully pop gives the BigDog a lot of Bowens minutes for tonight...It would be good for both of them....

we need to be careful with Tony people, we can't afford another injury, not now. I say play him limited minutes in the next 3 or 4 games, and I mean limited, 15-20 minutes. Maybe just the first half.
