Keep that memory, maybe it will keep you warm on the colder nights ahead.

"million moron march"

happened today, plenty of morons, but not a million from any reports I've seen.

Glen Beck is scaring a lot of people into wasting their money (the GB stimulus plan?), and wasting their energy and emotions on bullshit the people can't affect, agains demons that are over-stated or non-existent.

Who ever said there would be a million?

....'tens of thousands', which by FAUX News standards isn't even impressive...

Some estimates have placed it as high was 350,000. I think the usual source for a definitive estimate (I know, oxymoronic) is usually the D.C. Police Department. Maybe someone will bother to ask them how many people they figure were there.

In one story, I read, the sound system that had been set up for the crowd was not sufficient. The outer reaches of the crowd were way beyond the where the speakers had been positioned. Either the organizers underestimated the crowd size expected or, of course, they made an error in setting up the event.

This is kind of entertaining...

CNN sent a report to the rally to conduct an interview about, of all things, Joe Wilson. Roll the tape...

Comedy gold, I tell ya!

Anyway, why CNN would attempt to conduct an interview about Congressional decorum or -- health care, even -- at a Tea Party aimed at government spending is, to say the least, curious.

As one of the guys a Powerline commented:

We are living in a weird era, in which news organizations studiously avert their eyes from the news.
Apparently, CNN -- or, at least, that reporter -- didn't find the Tea Party newsworthy.
