Eagles are the favorites in the NFC, like I said all off-season.

As if the Cardinals ever were the favorite.

You did try to tell us that they were at least on par with them. You were telling us they fixed their biggest need when they drafted a RB.

I know I didn't say the latter.....maybe I said the first part (and just cause I was dumb enough to say it, doesn't mean it's true) but I was never a fan of the Beanie Wells pick because their offensive line and outside linebackers still suck.

If so, my mistake on the latter.

And off-season kool-aid? lol. I drank that shit for the Raiders last year. I thought they were going 10-6.

And I especially hate wasting a first rounder on Wells when they're gonna run the Tim Hightower offense where all they do is force it to Hightower. Wells is clearly the better players.

So basically, back to obscurity, back to horrible offensive line play, back to having a QB with a vagina, back to having a retarded coach (Whiz must have gotten brain cancer during the off season), and back to losing a whole bunch of games to less talented teams. Yay.

There is no clear cut favorite in the NFC, there are several teams at the top.

1) don't understand the Warner hate, he was in the bowl last year. damn, some of you people...

2) don't understand hightower getting so much love by the cards o-coordinator

Exactly. Was.

I give him two more games. If he has another performance like this, it's Leinart time (Gulps nervously).

I'm pretty sure Tim Hightower's dad has secret video of Ken Whisenhunt and Kurt Warner making a gay porno together.

Its a little hard to throw at players when your constantly on your ass cause of the offensive line.

God you phoenix fans are freaking retarded if you turn on Kurt freaking Warner THAT quick.

The offensive line had problems, but there were countless plays where he held the ball too long. If the line gives you 4-5 seconds and you can't do shit, that's on you.

So he's supposed to throw into double coverage?
Throw at someone even though they aren't open?
Check downs are covered?

Dude get a fucking grip.

:lol

Ok Joe Namath.

Look, just cause your team lost doesn't make you some big fucking expert.

For some reason they have Boldin running down field on every play instead of the underneath routes that have made his career.

I'm a Niner fan, and they played some deep zone all day long to prevent the long pass, thus the dump-offs to Hightower. The Niners were also getting to Warner often, sacking him 3 times, hitting him 8 times, and hurrying him 21 times. On top of that, the Cards lost Todd Haley, who IMO was a very good offensive coordinator. Credit should also be given to Spencer/Bly/Clements for doing a good damn job on those excellent receivers.

Bright spot for the Cardinals was that stingy rush defense. I really thought the Niner line could run block better than that. Gore couldn't get a damn thing going, and Coffee didn't get many carries.

I am a niner fan. Sucks because I live in Dallas Cowboy country. (Good thing I am not too serious about football) Was just wondering if Warner really did look that bad out there to warrant his own thread.

If everybody didn't drink it during the offseason there'd be no sports, and the Red Sox would have gone belly-up 40 years ago.

Yes, Warner looked terrible. His 2nd interception was completely unnecessary. He threw it while he was being tackled and falling forward. It wasn't great pass protection, but it wasn't terrible either. A QB should be able to do something with 4-5 seconds in the pocket.

I heard Steve Nash might be interested in playing QB for them... how about that DoK? :D lol

"What have you done for me lately" forum.

Pretty damn ungrateful.

But you can't deny that with Whiesenhunt calling the offensive plays the Cards offense has been pitiful (preseason and regular season). Injuries haven't helped, but geez.

^I agree. But I also don't think a QB who thinks that reading the bible will solve any problems is a good solution. That bible stunt he pulled was meant to get the fans off his back.

I'm more than happy that you're bumping this thread cause Warner had a good game. When you've watched a team suck your entire life, then watch them make the superbowl, you're gonna be happy to see they're still a good team.

It appears that DOK knows as little about football as he does about the NBA.

He seems to have a common theme here. Find an aging superstar wearing number 13, blast his deficiencies, overlook his strengths and call for the organization to play his overrated, young backup.
