good day of football, IMO no upsets today, shitty day for us fantasy footballers that have Donovan McNabb as their QB.

Hopefully for us ff that have Forte, Cutler, the Bears defense and Greg Jennings, they all have fantastic nights.

Football is back!

Prediction

Bears 28 Packers 24.

San Francisco finished the season last year VERY strong and have improved over the offseason while the Cardinals lost some guys and didn't add anyone except a one legged RB.

Not a big upset.

EricB

That was a sucktacular series for the Bears.

Cutler clearly has the butterflys and needs to chill.

Suprised they didn't try to run the ball more.

The Cardinals had one major loss, Antonio Smith. Please explain this "some guys" thing to me.

DUNCANownsKOBE2
09-13-2009, 07:42 PM
And Bryant McFadden was a major upgrade at corner over Rod Hood. If you're gonna talk about a team you don't pay attention to at all, try and do a better job.

No big deal when they had a 2nd year replacement groomed to replace Smith. As far as today goes, that 2nd year replacement played amazing. The defensive line was by far the biggest strength of the team today, so losing Antonio Smith wasn't why they lost. Try again. It was an upset, just admit you were wrong. It's really not a big deal.

No, they lost one guy, and replaced him with an equally effective player. You watched the game, we both know the defense wasn't the problem today.

How did that ball get to Fitzgerald in the end zone?

By magic?

No, the Cardinals had the lead at 16-13 and the defense let the Niners just walk down the field at will and gave up a wide open pass to Frank Gore for aTD...

Week 1 jitters. Pretty typical. I remember last year in the NFL, the under for a game won every time with the exception of one game in Week 1.

EDIT: That was kind of convoluted. Haha. In week 1, the under on betting won every game except one last year.

Much harder to play in-sync offense than coordinated defense early on.

This isn't Cutler's fault, these receivers are blowing horribly....the tight ends as well.

Laughing at other teams?

Hell no, no Lion fan should do that.

I didn't laugh at a team, I laughed at a QB who has thrown 3 INTs.

Stop being a tard. It's almost halftime, typically guys settle in by the middle of the first Q.

How long are you going to make excuses for the guy?

He's made one bad pick.

The other two was a great play by a lineman and a horribly run route by his wide out.

But hey, what the hell.

So you laughed at your own QB today too I assume then?

This Bears punter is a hell of a punter.

Of course he's had plenty of practice tonight.

Since the criteria to laugh was throwing 3 INTs, no, sadly I couldn't. Next game perhaps.

Edit: he did throw 3 INTs. LOL Stafford.

Happy?

And why is being a fan of a team not let you laugh at someone? That's just retarded. I migth as well go in the NBA forum and say no one can talk shit to me cause I'm a Raider fan. Bad logic.

I'd say 80% of the fan base laughed at the QB play from Stafford. He played shitty. The other 20% were crying.

Tough place to play on the road, first start, etc are all excuses. He needs to play better, just like the jittery 4th year QB.

I think there's a special place reserved for certain teams. It would be like a Clippers fan laughing at the Spurs because McClinton was a bust. Sure you can laugh, but it's kind of silly to do so.

I'll give Cutler a semi break this game since it's his first with a new team against a good defense but he better at least start to show something in the 2nd half. That said he doesn't have shit for weapons. Sam Hurd would be their ace receiver, that corps sucks balls.

Your post has incredibly horrible logic.

I didn't say they couldn't laugh at another team.

But seriously laughing at Cutler for throwing 3 INTs 2 werent his fault by a Lions fan whos team hasn't won a game since December 2007???

Think about that.

Lions suck and Pistons will probably suck next year. I will still comment, trash, and laugh at teams in both leagues whenever I see fit. My teams sucking doesn't seem like an impediment for me to either be happy for the success of a team or player or laugh at the miscues of other teams or player.
