Until my wife pops out out first child. :)

Though about two weeks out, she said we're going to walk an hour each day to hopefully get him out slightly early. Set up the bassinet yesterday, and we've got tons of clothes and whatnot. Just a little longer to wait!

That's all, really. Just wanted to share my enthusiasm. :D

You are in my prayers that all is wonderfully blessed for you, your wife, and your little one. :)

Congratulations!

I always wondered if the walking thing mattered. I walked half an hour every day of my pregnancy, and my son was born 3 weeks early. I was even leaving to go walk when my water broke!

The funny thing is- when you are pregnant there are things you think you really want but you end up barely using them. On the other hand some things you don't really think about will get tons of use.

I know I really wanted a baby monitor, and then I only used it one night. My child was in a cradle for the first month of his life in our room. The first night we moved him out, I set up the monitor. I could not sleep a wink. I spent just about the whole night listening for every little sound on that thing. I finally shut it off and went to sleep figuring that if he cried I would hear him. I never used it again.

I also almost never used my big fancy stroller, but I used my cheap, folding umbrella stroller a ton! It was probably the best $20 I spent on my kid for the first couple of years of his life.

Congrats!!! There is nothing, nothing like the experience of the birth of your child. I wish you all the best!!!
