I've been going back and forth on video settings between 1080i and 1080p, and I'm not sure which produces the better picture. Anyone have experience with this playing vids in terms of which setting produces the better picture? Thanks.

1080p. If you watch an action scene with a lot of lighting effects, you should notice the difference.

Look it up on wikipedia for more information.

You better have an A+ certification before you give out your opinions around here or PM5K will have your ass for supper.

1080p for sure, but the bigger your display the more you will notice the increase in resolution.

I play my 360 on a 52 inch flatscreen. I was playing Fable 2 and Red Faction the other day and kept going back and forth between 1080i and 1080p. It was hard to tell a difference, but after keeping it set on 1080p for a few days I do think there is a better overall quality in terms of resolution, lighting effects, bloom, draw distance, etc.

Are you sure those games are native 1080p games? It should say on the back of the box what resolutions are supported.

You should immediately notice a difference between 1080p and 1080i, especially if there is a lot of movement on the screen.

^don't know actually, I'll have to look when I get home from work later on. I've just noticed that on the 1080p setting there is an improvement with reflective surfaces, resoltuion, textures are clearer and sharper.

Although the gameplay is somewhat lacking, I have to say that Fable 2 is one beautiful looking game.

I play on a 720p projector with 108" screen, it's no 1080 but I'll tell you what even standard def dvd's are gorgeous.

Im hoping to upgrade to a 1080p projector this christmas.
