Obama used the word crisis, not because he wanted to use fear to get people to ok his radical changes to the govt, because he really thought the country was going down the drain. Had we not used less than 10% of the bail-out money that they said was needed so quickly that they couldn't even read the bill, then this country would have 12 % unemployment, not JUST 9 %.
