Tomorrow night at the Municipal Auditorium.... anyone going? Wanna go? I might have an extra ticket.... if you want to cover the beer and such!

I'd love to go but I'm going to the UT-Texas Tech game.

Have you seen them before? I saw them with System of a Down a few years back at the ATT Center and they were unreal. Then I saw them at the Austin Music Hall and was literally deaf afterwards. I was right in front of the stage, Cedric jumped up on the speakers right above us and was singing straight down at the crowd. Fan-fucking-tastic.

They are incredible live. Cedric is fucking electric live and the rest of the band are no slouches.

ive always felt bad for mars volta, theyre texas boys they look good, they feel good, but ATDI and sparta were and are better by far, i think MV stinks actually

Not a bad show.. but definitely the least memorable of all the times i've seen them. Lot's of technical issues, and the lack of a pit just made the experience feel like I was watching a talent show in the high school auditorium.

My friends that I went with made the trip to the Houston show on Thursday and were disappointed that they played the exact same set list with the exception of 1 song.

Plus, I think Cedric was sick.... he was sucking on the hot tea all night. I took my 11 year old son.... he rocked out hard the entire time. This morning he woke up with a sore neck. He thought it was the greatest!

and yeah... i think towards the end of the Houston show his voice started cracking and there were a bunch of times last night where he was obviously off. Upward and onward I suppose. Next stop for me is Austin for Them Crooked Vultures next, next thursday.

I thought the show was awesome. If there's one thing I can knock it for, it's the douche bag hippies going into a seizure-like dance rampage in the row in front of us.

Good show...kinda like Santana on the short bus with Tool, playing the spacier parts of Rush, with an indecipherable James Brown driving...but, a good show none the less.

God, I love the Municipal Auditorium.

at the drive in i can agree with. sparta, while good, is under them IMO. i did see sparta perform a couple times years ago and always had a hell of a time.

Damn guys... I was in Section one row f. Great seats!!!! I felt stupid on Saturday, because I could not find ONE lonely soul to come with me FOR FREE! Man I felt like the village lepor!

Um... so it's weird that my friends were disappointed after spending 7 hours on the road on Thursday and come to find that Saturday's show was similar? You're statement is probably pointed at me because you always seem so butthurt, but I didn't even travel with them.

So not only are you bitter... but I supposed now you're petty.
