As I posted yesterday, this looks like a typical Suns win. Close game, even to a lottery team, but the other teams falters a little late in the game, while Suns keep on scoring, game over.

I know this is probably a little late to be asking this, but...

If the Spurs finish with an identical record as the Suns at the end of the season, do they win the tiebreaker by way of season series or does it go by something else?

The Spurs would win on series record (2-1) :)

Go Hornets, Go!

Up 5.

Game over.

Aint no way the Hornets can hang and beat the freakin Suns.

Spurs will have to pray for a freak of nature for them to get numero uno.

Just be happy if they get ahead of Miami.

Phoenix makes both free throws.
Dickau bricks a jumpshot.
Stoudemire with the transition dunk.
Timeout New Orleans.
88-79 Suns.

Looking like another Suns runaway.

... as I said above. Suns do this very frequently. I'm nearly always pissed, after being hopeful for 42 minutes during a close Suns game almost never gets stolen by the other team.

There ya go, NO keeps it close and then scores under 15 pts in the 4th qtr, NOT due to Suns non-existnet defense.

Hornets had some open looks towards the end that did not fall. Then the Suns scored a few baskets and they basically folded. Suns defense wasn't really all that solid at any point.

All you short-sighted homers who kept saying about those give-away L's the Spurs racked up this season, "STFU, it's only one game".

Well, Spurs HCA vs Suns and Heat is now down just one or two of all these "only one game" losses. Bite me.

Too bad the Hornets panicked and started jacking up threes. Funny how a game can get away from you in three or four posessions. News for New Orleans: It's called a layup. You're playing the Suns.
