Ever been to it? It's a stretch of road that starts in the Eastern Central part of Oklahoma and ends in the Eastern Central part of Arkansas. I went back in August with my grandpa to it and it was pretty nice. I had never been to it so I wasn't really prepared for the drive. It's a beautiful drive but the driving sucks. Very steep and hilly. The drive is only about 50 something miles long but it took us about 2 hours because you can't go fast on the drive. I'm thinking about going back in the last part of October or early part of November to see the fall foilage. The mountains are pretty nice. They aren't huge but they are probably around 1,500 to 2,000 feet high. When you're on the drive, the mountains seem huge. The main thing that surprised was the bears. I saw two black bears on the drive. The place is boonies big time. If you're driving in an area where it's really steep and has mountains, will it hurt your car if you drive in 2nd gear if your car is an automatic?
