That Gaddafi is a wild man. I caught some of his speech. He was talking about the Kennedy assasination. How Oswald killed Kennedy then a jew, Jack Ruby killed Oswald.

I was just wondering if ACORN taught the U.N. about the child prostitution gambit, or did the U.N. teach ACORN maybe a chicken and the egg sort of thing I don't know.

Reports are he went off for 90 minutes on shit like this. :lol The real funny thing was his loose yellow notebook paper he had all this written on. It was not a speech for sure. He was going from one conspiracy to another. One page to the next. Jumping all over the place from his notes. I think he was a bit surprised that let him keep talking. He looked like he skipped through his notes and when no one told him he had to stop he would go looking through his talking points then start talking about something else he had no knowledge on.

Obama interjected a whole lot of Me, My and I regarding this country as a whole in his UN speech. Where as it should have been more of Us, We and Our.
This man is not a team player for this country...which is probably why Gaddafi had such praise for Obama's speech.
Gaddafi even lamented as much in suggesting that America would only be acceptable to UN beliefs if Obama were the only person to rule this country.
Something to the effect that after Obama is gone in 8 years America wouldn't be able to be trusted when Obama is gone?
I think WE as a nation should pull out of the UN...pay attention to our own people and concerns that fall within our own borders...if pestelence and strife befalls another nation then let those in that nation resolve their own differences...and only militarily defend our nation instead of being a "peace force" for other nations to ridicule once we go to the aid of that nation.
Let countries or religious radicals try and rule the rest of the world...they will be constantly embattled with resistance and bring their abilities to govern down while we as a nation will become the envy of other nations again because we would only be taking care of our own.
If any sovereign country asks us to intervein in conflict for the just cause of protecting the innocent within that nation's border...then and only then should it even be considered.

Gaddafi praising Obama is not a good sign. That dude is wrong about thousands of things. You must shake your head if he loves Obama.

So, is there anything about the actual speech besides the incidence of personal pronouns that is noteworthy?
No blogs please, just your own thoughts.

This is actually what George Washington, and many of our founding fathers, had in mind. I'd be ok with that, in theory, but I don't think it would ever be practical to suggest such in the real world.

Why not LnGrrrR? The world was far less practical back then.
But I could see how we as a nation (politicians/corporate giants) might not want that.
A novel ideal might be...forget about world trade and imports and place people and companies back to work here manufacturing the goods and wants of the people...forget about the income tax laws we have now and go with consumption tax...allow true capitalism without restraint of intrastate policies...allow for true good will through donation and volunteerism to support local communities without mandated welfare...allow for health care practices that also allow for natural cures instead of just pharmeceutical remedies...Allow us to regulate ourselves instead of government trying to rule our lives.
I don't know...our founding fathers had a pretty good ideal at the time...too bad we don't live and govern by those same principles anymore.
