Who can ever forget the Napster BS? The hammer was going to come down without Lars getting extremely butthurt.

I WILL BE THERE!!!

The Napster thing was about Original Recordings being illegally downloaded...not live shows...that's what Metallica was fighting about.

They were the only ones to stand up to the system...as artist, you have to protect your "body of work". If you create something and someone is using your idea to to make money off of it...you'd be ticked too?

Anyway the Napster thing was 10 years ago....Get over it!!!!!

As much as I did enjoy the last Metallica concert I went to, I can't stand their attitudes...they couldn't give two shits about the fans, and without us, they're nothing.

Yep. They're also the most overplayed and overrated band of the past 20 years. Their last "good" album was in 1991.

obviously you have never heard of people like miley cyrus, jonas bros, green day, jessica simpson, lady gaga etc etc fucking etc.
I cant stand radio, other than classic rock stations.

I would love to see Metallica bc they are on my short list of bands I havent seen yet that I want to. But I doubt I will ever go. Def not my fav band anymore but they are still decent, and I would disagree that they dont care about fans.

Free beer and grub with a front row box seat.

I'm not familiar with the section setup at AT&T but we were up above the big SRO area and off to the left (looking at the stage)

Green day is the only true "band" here that you mentioned - and yes, I've heard of these people. My statement isn't any less true because of it.

They played All Nightmare Long... nice. That's my favorite song from their new album. Which is really decent, BTW. Leaps and bounds better than St. Anger... I really thought they were done after that album.

I'm hoping they announce some more shows in the Northeast... I'd love to go see them. Been a huge fan since I was around 13 (10 years ago now) so I'd love to see them in concert before they're in wheelchairs.

I never really gave a shit about their attitude... I like their music so I buy their CDs. Except St. Anger.
