SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have activated forward Tim Duncan. Duncan, who has missed the Spurs last 12 games, suffered a grade II sprain of his right ankle versus the Detroit Pistons on 3/20/05. Duncan is averaging 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.68 blocks in 34 minutes per game this season.

At the same time the Spurs placed forward Linton Johnson III on the injured list with a left ankle injury. Johnson has appeared in two games for the Spurs this season after undergoing surgery on 11/23/04 to repair a stress fracture in his left ankle.

Duncan will be a game-time decision for tonight’s Spurs/Jazz contest.

I think he may get a little bit of playing time, but not much. Glad to see he's been activated.

If he plays, how much time do you think he'll see on the court?

I didn't know we had a player named Tim Duncan on the Spurs. Is he new? I'd like to know more about this Duncan character.

I'd like to see him get 4 to 9 minutes. You gotta work a rookie like him into the offense ya know.
