Every year the Kidd Kraddick radio show holds a fundraiser to sponsor a vacation to Disney World for chronic or terminally ill children and their families. Today is fundraising day. The show is currently on 96.1 here in San Antonio. You can donate online or go to the website to look for locations in various cities to donate in person. For info on donating you can go to www.kiddskids.com.
I know some of you don't like Kidd Kraddick. Don't be asshats and come in here just to slam the guy who does this thing for terminally ill kids and their families every year.

I occasionally listen to Kid Kraddick. Obviously not nearly often enough, though, as I still don't understand your point.

Kidd lines up sponsors, such as Southwest Airlines who donates the charter jet for these families to go to Disney World. Each year he takes kids, siblings, and parents of terminally or chronically ill kids or kids who have been in serious accidents (such as a girl who got burned over 80% of her body saving her brother's friend). He only raises money one day per year to support this trip which he began doing over 20 years ago. For these kids who face more than many of us will ever face, it is a wonderful few days away. I cry every year.

He's a radio DJ out of Dallas whose show is syndicated all over, including San Antonio.
Wow one day a year, way to commit yourself to a cause.

You missed the whole point- instead of bugging people over and over about it, he devotes one day to asking people to give. He himself works on it year round.

If I had the money I would donate to the cause in a heartbeat. I think he broadcasts from the event itself. I'm sure there's some type of Development team that solicits big donations from bigger companies (like ploto said) and the richers to make the bigger things happen.

As far as I'm concerned, his 4 man crew takes up 4 seats little jonny tumor and family could, who says he has to broadcast from disneyworld just cause his cause goes.

I listed to Kidd Kraddick... he's not too bad, occasionally. And hey, the kids that are going with him wouldn't be able to go otherwise. It's not like he secretly steals money from viewers or something; it's obviously public knowledge he's going to.
If you don't care to donate, then don't. Pretty simple.
