Due to the fact that T-long has gone mad with all the Blazer threads, we should use this time to reflect on the best ownage of the Blazers

I'm surprised no one mentioned the 91 WCF against LA when Magic heaved the ball down court after a surefire Terry Porter jumper rimmed out, forcing Blazer fans and players alike watch helplessly as their season slowly bounced down to the other end of the floor as time nearly expired. :bang
The fact that Buck Williams had to inbound the ball with .01 seconds left was the worst part. :depressed

2002 game 3 vs the Lakers when Kobe drove on Patterson "The Kobe Stopper" and Pippen comes to help leaving Robert Horry wide open in the corner for 3. That 3 ended the season for the Blazers.

Game 2 2001 first round vs the Lakers had a great moment. Dale Davis pissed off Shaq. Shaq told Phil to let him shoot the technical free throws. He made em both. :lmao

Chicago Bulls VS Portland Trail Blazers (1992 NBA Finals)
Game 6: After 3 quarters, the Blazers were up 15 points and could force a game 7. This is what broke down.
Scottie Pippen and bench started to lead the impossible comeback, with Jordan finishing it. The score at the end was 97-93, with the Bulls repeating and eventually 3-peating, setting up championship after championship. Poor Blazers.

2000 WCF, Game 7
The way the Lakers miraculously got extremely aggressive, resulting in a 37-16 FTA advantage, when FTA were pretty much even for both teams the rest of the series was really a sight to behold.
Shaq and Kobe both had 12 FTA in that game, while the entire Blazer starting five had 13 FTA, with the Lakers attempting more 3s in the game, and having roughly the same amount of rebounds.
The Lakers are aggressive I tells ya.

Portland's draft decision is regarded by ESPN as the worst in NBA history.[6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Bowie#cite_note-5) Sports Illustrated (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sports_Illustrated) called Bowie the biggest NBA draft bust (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft_bust) in a 2005 list, arguing that teams should not draft according to current need but to a player's potential.[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Bowie#cite_note-6)

Yes, we don't win there Media woulda took off after Daddy like the last porkchop on the plate. They weren't sniffin' Kobe then, but, Daddy was ripe for mucho abuse. They'd a lashed his ass to the whipping post and beat him without mercy.
We ended it there. Danka, t!

He would have deserved it too. Shaq was MIA the first three quarters of that game before finally taking over the fourth.

Picking Sam Bowie with career averages of 10.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.78 blocks per game over THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME MJ and CHARLES BARKLEY! not to mention a few others who made an impact in their career by making allstar teams.. bowie didnt make any btw..
Jerryd Bayless?.. dude ripped up summerleague.. and he gets awarded with 12 mins a game in 53 games..
Not to mention Greg Oden.. i feel for him with the injuries but being picked before KD is a crime when ur known to have shit all for offence.

34. Scottie Pippen, Seattle Sonics (No. 5, 1987)
Wait … Scottie Pippen was a great choice! … except the Sonics (who had acquired the pick from the Knicks for Gerald Henderson) had a deal with the Bulls for the No. 8 pick: They would draft Pippen and trade him to Chicago for Olden Polynice. So that's what happened. To make matters worse, the Sonics drafted Derrick McKey at No. 9 while the Bulls drafted Horace Grant at No. 10.
In the next couple of years, the Sonics would draft Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp … hmm, you think a lineup of Payton, Pippen, Kemp and Grant couldn't have won three or four titles in the '90s? It does suck being a Seattle sports fan.
Didnt realize this.

If the Sonics drafted Pippen and Grant, there wouldn't be a chance they get the #2 pick for Payton. I think Kemp was drafted 17, so there would still be a chance for that.
