NEW YORK -- Oakland (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=oak) defensive lineman Richard Seymour (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2554) was fined $7,500 by the NFL on Friday for unnecessary roughness against Denver (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=den) tackle Ryan Clady (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11246).
After a play was over, Seymour pulled Clady by the hair.
Seattle (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=sea) DE Patrick Kerney (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1782) was fined $5,000 for roughing the passer when he unnecessarily drove Chicago (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=chi)'s Jay Cutler (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9597) to the ground.
San Francisco (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=sfo) defensive end Justin Smith (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2552) was fined $5,000 for hitting Brett Favre (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=112) in the knee area during Minnesota (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=min)'s 27-24 win Sunday. The play occurred in the second quarter when Smith dived and hit Favre's left knee as the quarterback completed a 3-yard pass to Sidney Rice (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10488).
Smith was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness.Wow, WTF? If your hair comes out of your helmet, it should be fair game.

It is, but he continued way passed the whistle!
During this GIF he never lets go of his hair, even after the whistle was blown & the ref tried to seperate them!
