View Full Version : Chris Collinworth and Ben Rothlisberger

Ben Rothlisberger pump fakes ten times, gets sacked, fumbles then recovers his own fumble. Collinsworth then proceeds to bust a fat nut about Ben's ability to buy time and utilize pump fakes. Just a remender Collinsworth:

1) When someone gets sacked, they obviously didn't buy enough time.
2) When someone pump fakes 10 times and can't even get a pass off, his pump fakes obviously didn't do jack shit.
3) Pro athletes in their twenties aren't allowed to date/fuck high school girls. That's considered rape......could this be why you're such a huge Fat Ben fan?

You're fuckin stupid.

Ben will play ugly football, but gets it done when he has to. He's not a top 5 QB, but he has been in the playoffs and own 2 rings. So I think its stupid to shit on Ben Rothlisberger. And for the record I hate him, but I can recognize that the dude has played some good football since he's been in the league.

How is Ben not a top 5 QB? cause he pump fakes too much? come on! he has 2 SB rings 2nd only to Brady with 3. he was the youngest qb to get to the play-offs and the youngest to win a SB. He is 8-2 in the play-offs he also is showing these last 2 years that he doesn't have to rely on the run they can win threw the air! That's how HE won the SB last year, on a final drive in the clutch with a perfect pass! i mean what has Brees or Payton or Mc Nabb done that he wasnt? he has already shown he is the best QB out of the '04 class by far!

my top 5 qb's are brady, payton, brees/ Mc Nabb, and ben at # 5

Is there ever a time that you make a thread and not bitch about something. I'm gonna assume no. You know that you would love to have Big Ben on your team and love that the media drools over everything he does. When you're the QB of a big time team people just love you bottom line.

Thing is, Steelers haven't sucked that bad (since like 1970) to get the number 1 pick. Does it burn you that your boy doesn't have as many rings as Roethlisberger?? It seems like you and all the other Ben haters are a tad bit jealous. It's easy to hate on someone that wins at life!!!!!

I don't think he "sucks" (I'd def. take him over Kurt "I eat dicks" Warner), I just think he's overrated and don't like how he gets the Teabow treatment, almost as annoying as when Teabow gets it.

Superstars in every sport, that win, get that "love" (except Tim Duncan), that's just part of it. I will admit to you that because I'm a Steeler fan I don't mind the love that Roethlisberger gets but hate the media frenzy that surrounds Tebow, Kobe, KG and others. I do hate it when it involves players/teams that don't win anything (LeBron, Notre Dame, Cowboys)

Dude, when you use a word so much it loses its meaning.

The top 3 QB come pretty easy right now:

1-Peyton Manning

I'm not basing my argument on stats, nor I'm basing my argument on this season alone.

I think Ben is a top 5 QB because of the constant improvement he has made since he joined the league and the habilities he displays on the field, he's one of the strongest and most mobile QBs, already one of the most accurate (IMO the most important atribute in a QB) and like it or not the guy is a winner.

No, I don't. And I admit that he probably wouldn't be the player that he is now without the confidence of having won 2 superbowl rings. But arguing about that is pointless right now. He won what he won and he is what he is.

The same could be said about Brady and the Pats.

lol at the big ben haters. guy proved he was a winner in college and in the NFL. The final drive against the Cardinals, the immaculate tackle against the Colts, those are some special plays from a special player. His defense didn't bail him out in the latest SuperBowl, HE bailed out the defense.

As for his horrendous showing against the Seahawks, big deal. It was his 2nd year in the league and nobody said he was near Manning/Brees/Brady status anyway.
