Most Overrated Reciever in the NFL.

For an owner to let go of a player that caught 34 TD's in 3 years for nothing to show for.

To not only trade a 1st round pick, but a 3rd round pick as well for a possesion reciever at best.

To resign this player after catchin 1 TD in 10 games for 45 million over 5 years.

Four weeks in all signs are indicating you were spot on. Roy Williams is not a number 1 reciever or a big time play-maker by any means. Thats one reason why the worst team in the league wanted to let him go. Cowboys made a mistake and they are having to live with it. Defenses no longer have to worry about the big plays TO made and can put 7-8 guys in the box and not have to worry about the deep ball. Roy Williams is not a threat and will be one of the dumbest moves the Cowboys have made in the Jerry era.

Did anyone actually think this was a good trade for Dallas? The only reason most people don't know Williams isn't that great is cause he was smack dab in the middle of two other busts to take the camera away from him in Detroit. Now that he's supposed to be the #1 receiver for Dallas, people see he isn't that good.

He'd be a solid to great slot receiver on a good team. It was pretty foolish to think of him as a no. 1 receiver on a playoff team. He's got pretty good hands and very good size, but he doesn't have great speed, and what's worse is he in general can't get separation by athleticism, speed, or by moves. The Lions were fortunate to get a number 1 pick for him. The fact that they also got a third round pick as well was gravy.

Guy has been much better than I thought he would be at this point. Not his fault his qb can't get him the ball. I think the only bad play I've seen from him this year is that dropped goaline pass.

TO has had a few drops yes, but there is a reason Trent Edwards nickname is Trentative Checkwards(as well as captain checkdown.) Fred Jackson is the leading receiver because all Edwards does is check down after check down.

QBs tend to check down when receivers don't get open. Last year word got out that TO can't get off the line when he's jammed. I'm pretty sure every team's doing it these days.

TO was supposed to make his QBs better. He's not getting anything done in Buffalo. If TO wanted to stay in Dallas, he would have kept his mouth shut and just played.

The story was the same as it was in SF and Philly. I supported TO from Day 1, but the moment he said Witten and Romo were meeting in secret, I was done with him. Hey TO, just play the damn game.
