Me will be there w/crew of 3 others. Got to listen to Bruce Bowen last week at a fundraiser for Parkinsons disease and he said although he would miss playing for the Spurs he asked everyone there to cheer for the new guys so I'm going to do what Bruce asked me to do!!!

I'm hoping for long looks at Hill, Mahinmi, Blair and Haislip. The starting lineup will also be interesting. Will Bonner start? Will Mason start over Ginobili? It obviously won't mean much but could give us a hint at what Pop is thinking.

I will be interested the most in Hill and Ian. If those two can step up, especially Hill, that would provide a huge lift for the Spurs this season and beyond.

Blair will be vital as well and I want to see him against NBA level competition. I will be watching his defense and how he does in the PnR.

Haislip is interesting to me. I want to see how Pop plans to use him defensively. I also want to see his 3 point range. I have doubts about it.

Aside of new and/or young players, I'm quite curious to see what will happen at the PG spot.

TP won't play or will play very few minutes so there should have playing time behind him and Hill. Who will get these minutes? Jerrels? Williams? Ginobili? Mason?

At the end of the training camp, Spurs will have to decided if they can go or no with a full roster with only 2 PGs.

The summer went really well for George and he put a lot of work in with Forcier and Chip to improve his shot and game overall.

He feels he's matured and become a lot more confident in taking his shot when he's open and he's really looking to continue on improving his point-guard skills; so that he can really help out Tony as a back-up.

He's learning everything he can from Tony and he really credits Jacque on helping him with his understanding of the game and the position.
