I just got back from Las Vegas and was surprised to see Washington having the 4th best odds to win SB in the NFC at 7-1. Dallas was 10-1 :shock Philly is the favorite at 7-2.
The over under for Washington's wins is 9 and Dallas is 8 1/2.

Jim, Jim, Jim. Vegas lines have little to do with reality, and everything to do with where they think the money will fall. The long-suffering Skins fans all think that Gibbs will rescue them from misery THIS year, and are betting accordingly. The line then adjusts.

exstatic, extatic, exstatic if Dallas were really America's team, then Vegas would have Dallas as favorites over Washington, because there would be millions more fans betting on Dallas than any other team. So, your theory does not hold water. Washing is favored over Dallas because they are better. :)

No one cares about this game. Neither team will make the playoffs.

we'll find out in week 3 which team is better.

Dallas was favored ahead of Washington.

It only changed after they announced Darren Woodson would be out longer than expected.

When Sean Taylor tears his knee in week 2 Dallas will be favored again.

also, who the hell cares about favorites in todays NFL, you think Carolina was the NFC favorite last year?

tlong, I played Las Vegas National, the course where Tiger won his first professional tournament on on Sunday. I had a great time, and even played the back tees because we were paired up with a couple of scratch golfers from Chicago. I shot a 77 with 2 double bogies, so I was very pleased with my game.

Jim, did you make a bet then? 7-1 would bring you a nice payout.

No Betsy, I do not think Wash has a chance to get to SB this year....playoffs for sure, but not SB. Give Gibbs 2 yrs and he will get them there....baby steps, you know.:p

Zak, I am glad that they are not playing at Tampa, as it probably would have been postponed due to the new storm coming.

What is the status on Sean Taylor? I saw where he got dinged in the last preseason game.

That kid is going to be good.

He is fine, his name is not on injury report at all.

Jim, On Tradesports.com
I got the Redskins winning it all at 50-1
The good news is that I can sell at anytime, so I would love to see them make a solid run early, and then sell my stock.

I did this with the Spurs 2 years ago. I bought their stock at a 26-1 odds at the beginning of the Rodeo Road Trip.

Not to spam, but you can find some great odds there.
I won about 6000 dollars on a 200 dollar investment.
