I really don't have much hope in the Dodgers right now. I thought the Dodgers would lose to Chicago last season, though. Hope I am wrong.

I thought for sure Ericb would already be in here spouting off about how great the Cardinals are. Since Kuroda can't pitch this series due to injury Padilla and Billingsley are to pitch games three and four on the road so I'm not to confident. The offense has been downright horrible for weeks now as well so we'll see, if Kemp, Ethier and Manny all get hot (they're all due) then things could get interesting. I say the Cardinals take this in 4 games though, sadly.

My uncle just surprised me with tix to game 1! So pumped. Gonna be sitting in Mannywood. Hopefully Dodgers win tomorrow.

Carpenter on the road this year: 9-2, 2.05 ERA. If the Dodgers take Game 1, they will be looking pretty good.

I do not think the Dodgers will take Game 1. Cards in 4.

Both teams stumbled into the post season. Cards have better picthing and maybe better hitting, but the hitting isn't clicking much now.

Hard to get a gauge, but as a Cards fan I think the Cards are a better club.

The Cardinals can't hit bad leftys let alone good ones and lately they can't hit at all.

Not confident at all in this series at all. Honestly, just happy that the Cardinals are back in the playoffs again and got some new division champion swag :)

Awesome win, way to go Dodgers! Tomorrow is a great matchup on paper. The Dodgers closest thing to an ace, Kershaw and the almighty Wainwright. Going to be tough but I don't think anyone thought the Dodgers could beat Carpenter (including me), so who knows.

Vicente Padilla has been great for the Dodgers. They still need an ace this off-season. He jsut finished off the inning.


Manny is finally playing good, too. Hopefully this will carry on to the NLCS.
