So Bynum with his past injury history (FREAK INJURIES) cannot becoutned on at all this year to play like he did when he was healthy (ALL STAR DOMINATING LEVEL)

but yet.....

Manu is GUANRATEED to dominate like he did 7 years ago???

Am I reading this right? Manu - who gets injured from getting %&#&%&# by Sasha?

Be reasonable...

You guys are a very good team. Title contender in almost anyother year in NBA HISTORY! Thats how good you guys are...I admit it and I know this. But bottom line....you guys nor could anyother team in NBA HISTORY can compete with this Laker team. Sorry.

Better luck next year.

Ah...you've been gone for a while...I see you haven't gotten any smarter. First off, Bynum hasn't dominated on all star level, but he is a good player, and can be good if he's healthy...none of us said he wouldn't. We just said he hasn't proven anything. Manu, however, has proven he can be great, but not a single Spurs fan has said he's guaranteed to be healthy. I am picking the Spurs to beat LA..not because I'm fan, because I believe they made the additions they needed to take that step. To say that this Lakers team is the best team in NBA history, that's got to be the most dumbfuck thing I've ever heard. The '95-'96 Bulls would have shit on you and laughed at it. Superman (Jordan), Batman (Pippen), and Rodman, as they were lovingly called back in the day would have sent your Lakers to the insane asylum eating their own feces...it wouldn't have been a pretty site. I don't put this Lakers team in the top anything. Do you even try to think when you post?

seriously why the fuck do people act like the lakers are so unbeatable, im tired of hearing it from retarded fans and analysts...they may well end up repeating but it will be a dogfight. they are not far and away better than teams like the spurs, celtics, cavs, and maybe even the magic. all those teams are on the same level.

your team went through unexperienced teams that simply dont know how to win yet, the previous two champs had significant injuries...theyre both now healthy and have added key pieces. quit being a moron and acting like those two teams dont stand a chance against the lakers, and especially about the greatest team of all-time. thats a diss to the showtime lakers, 90s bulls, russell's celtics, etc. even title Spurs from this decade would beat up on this team.

first of all, manu's injury was from jamming his foot in game 1 against the suns.

secondly, most spur's fans know manu's status is uncertain.

the difference is that manu is a proven bad ass in the playoffs and the uncertainty of how good bynum really is remains due to his lack of PT in the postseason. bynum gets a lot of hype for a player who has had put up stretches of solid games during the regular season only. what he is outside of that is what we may or may never find out. that all depends on his knees.

not to mention they were thisclose to losing to a Rockets team sans Yao and McGrady

True, but, those guys swore up and they swore down they were better off without McGrady.

the year that the gravy trainer know as the "machine" ran "circles" around manu was when manu first injured his leg and it was against the suns in game one of the 1st round series.

I know, but, why should I let 'em off the hook now that it didn't work out? You wouldn't if you rang on their dead carcass, would you?

This thread makes me :lol
Yeah, lets just not bother with this years season, since the Lakers will go unbeaten all year. :rolleyes

It's because of Laker fans like YOU, that non-laker fans enjoy watching them go down...

You enjoy watching them go down because you lost your supreme advantage when Kobe rang/sans Daddy.

Tough shit.

Whenever Manu plays like crap, it's because of injury, not because of inconsistency--which is the real reason.

If i'm not mistaken, Manu has been having his best stats in the past two seasons, so I don't know where you got 7 years from.

A course. I won't cite it without cause, but, if provoked I will certainly lodge it. Your fandom created that shit sandwich, you must consume it.

That's the thing. If you were a Laker fan you'd be saying they Lakers would win, and I'd be saying the Spurs would win if i were a Spurs fan. Everybody is biased to their team, always.

Yes but what really hurt LA was Yao getting injured. Once Yao got injured, Aaron Brooks went crazy, and fisher had no chance. Also, the Lakers got lazy, it's not like they were gonna lose the series, before or after Yao's injury

Milky baby! When are you going to realize that your time is DONE?! The Lakers are overmatched by the Blazers at EVERY SINGLE POSITION! You have no chance. No chance at all. Sorry bout that bro....I know it hurts.

7 years ago? the 2007-08 season was his best season in the NBA before he broke his ankle. Manu has the ability to play at a high level whenever he wants, if his health grants it. The same can't be said for Andrew Bynum. Plain and simple.

I wouldn't make the font small for that. Even though it went 7 there was no doubt at any point after Game 3 that the Lakers were going to win the series. They won Games 4/5/7 rather comfortably.
