Bruce Bowen To Give Testimonial At Rampage Faith Night This Saturday (http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3915893)
SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage will put their faith in action after their game this Saturday, Oct. 17 to celebrate Faith Night when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
Former San Antonio Spurs forward Bruce Bowen will give a testimonial immediately after the game.
Leading up to the puck drop, six faith-based bands will compete in a "Battle of the Bands" on the Sombrilla starting at 5:30 p.m. The band with the most votes will be determined the winner and perform live at the second intermission.
The Rampage have teamed up with Oak Hills Church of Christ in their effort to help feed 15,000 families in need throughout the San Antonio community. After the game, Rampage staff members will pass out 4,000 Children's Hunger Fund Food Pak boxes for fans to fill with non-perishable food items. Each box was designed for home-delivery to the poor and provides an easy way to respond to needs quickly. For each box returned to the AT&T Center at any Rampage home game throughout the month of October, fans will receive two tickets to a future Rampage Sunday home game.
Oak Hills Church of Christ Minister of Writing and Preaching Max Lucado will also be featured with several in-game messages. Lucado has sold over 65 million faith-based books and is the only author to have won three Christian Book of the Year awards.
