Rested, no injury concerns, 45pts in 24minutes in a preseason game. Melo is going to win the scoring title this season, plus improve in every area of his game.

I expect a 30ppg (48% fg, 40% 3)/9rpg/7apg/1.5spg season from him :toast

Funny. 7 assists. 30 ppg with Nene, Billups and J.R Smith on the team? Interesting. 9 rebounds with Kenyon Martin, Nene and Birdman around? We will see.

What's so funny about that? The year previous to last, he averaged 49% from the field. Had it not been for the bum elbow of his throughout the regular season, his fg% wouldn't have drop that significantly.

yeh the reality is that Melo just doesn't get to handle the ball enough to really get his overall apg up too high. He will have the occasionally 8-9 assist game, but not often enough

His scoring will definately jump

I wouldn't be surprised about a significant jump, but seriously, mystargtr34´'s estimation is way closer to the reality.
