Jon Stewart skewered Fox News last night for covering every tea party protest in America (no matter how small) but not sending a reporter, or even a camera crew, to cover Sunday's gay rights march which included more than 75,000 protesters. Stewart and his team at the "Daily Show" counted how much time Fox devoted to even speaking about the march on Washington and it totaled less than 4 minutes.

So instead of completing the other thread, you start a brand new one on the same topic. Ok.

Eh, hardly any coverage by any network.

This must be the reason why Obama won't let any of his administration talk to fox news.
Did the other medias show that. Because that is the other side of it. They will cover a gay parade but not the tea parties. Did the other media's make lewd jokes about the gay parade like they did with the "tea baggers"? However it sounds like news. FN should have covered it. However I don't think they should have to allocate the same amount of time to every rally. Also it wasn't FN that was at the rally's as it was their opinion shows. Those guys do what they want, they don't have marching orders like the daytime news anchors.

FOXNews really let us all down on this one.

We can't all be like LakaLuva and have eyes on the ground during the annual gay pride march.

The other one was too loaded with personal attacks. This is a little better.

Yes, for reasons

#1 the title is direct and leads to the content desired
#2 the other thread is more about Darin than the vid.

No reasons necessary. Carry on.

I didn't hear much about the fruits running around DC in drag, eating bananas demanding equal rights on any of the networks. When I did the gays said they were mad Obama was not keeping his promises. Duh, he lied to everyone.

75,000 showed up? I hadn't heard a thing about it until a day or two before.

Not bad for not being co-opted by a major cable news network.

How many real gays are in America?

Well... it was a GLBT thing... I'd say their numbers run between 5-10 million. Probably more.

If it's a ratio thing then these numbers were more impressive. The number of middle aged fat people is probably in the low 100 million range.. So let's say 200k went to the tea parties. If 75k (don't really think it was that many) out of 10 million showed up... that's impressive.

saw this last night on tv... i like how stewart pointed out that fox news was behind glass in their studio in washinton and couldn't even point a camera out the window. hahaha.

and how FN covered the protest after it was done by showing an empty part of town "where the protest took place". hahaha.

fuck FN! that news network gets outshined all the time by the onion. ha.

To be fair 20,000 of those attendees were Lady Gaga's personal assistants.

Like any other commercial-funded entertainment network, FNC programs what its viewers want to watch. Most FNC viewers wouldn't have been able to stomach the image of so many gays. And we can't have those people turning to CNN.

They DIDN'T cover the tea parties for shit , and they DIDN"T cover the gay's demonstration either. It seems they are just protecting the whitehouse from any criticisim.

Sure they didn't. That was a different Glenn Beck.
