While a win won't guarantee the Chargers squat, it should ignite them and leave them only a game behind Denver at a would-be 3-2 vs 5-1. A loss will put a fork in them. For all Norvalls shortcomings, the past two seasons both times his ineptness had the Chargers on the brink of no playoffs, he came thru with excellent game strategies. Ie at 2-3 vs the New England Pattycakes last year and the last 3 reg season games. Most notably vs the Donkeys in the Finale for the West Division when Norv must have added a half cup of regular to his usual decaf. 52-21 Chargers. Sad that Norv only does this when it's desperation time, but the bad news/good news is it's desperation time.

The Chargers defense has several noticeable slackers, near the top of if not at the top of the list is Antonio Cromartie, whom after his All World perfomance two years ago has apparantly either read too many of his press clippings or burned too many blunts as he is now not only a pattycake on D, his overtly pointing his finger at the safety after his game blowing coverage vs Oakland was just beyond lame. (Chargers O bailed them out with a last minute score).

Merryman just isn't the same and probably never will be, so there goes one of the best pass rushers.

Defensive coordinator Ron Rivera has told the D that jobs are on the line. Lets hope there is bark behind the bite.

Unfortunately the incompetents in the front office including GM AJ Smith (was a great personell picker but cancelled all of that with the Norvron hire) had made it clear that Norv is in no danger whatsoever. :depressed

What do you see happening?
Norv unleashes the Bolts or gets worked by yet another younger coach as Broncos go 6-0?
