I wouldnt say its a very good song, there would be much better songs to use than this one. Listen carefully, the sound effects in background are stupid

Nah, it's perfect I think... has that opening that builds up while they're running out.... then when they hit the court it amps up

"we gon' run this town tonight"... how could you not think that's the perfect song to walk out to for a basketball game? Got me hyped when I went to the 1st pre-season game.

Im not a huge hip hop fan or whatever that music is called. Personally I prefer rock orchestra.

A Jay-Z song works...esp. since he's viewed as an old man in a young man's game...yet is still better than most the youngins that are supposed to be running the game...

I always thought The Undertaker music they play for visiting teams sometimes actually would be a badass intro as well.

It's an alright song. I absolutely hate Rihanna though, so thats what makes this a turn off for me.

Given the scale of the offseason makeover and the excitement generated,

AC/DC's Back in Black would be a great choice

but there's plenty of kick ass hip-hop out there too. My problem isn't with all Hip-Hop. It's with overrated music slopped together to make a quick buck.

"Run This Town" is the musical equivalent of a late 90's GM car.

I disagree...I dig AC/DC and Led Zeppelin...but I'm a bigger fan of 2Pac...but once more, that's just an opinion.

Zeplin is the shit so is 2pac/biggie. But today that song fits perfect the background noise goes well with crowd noise and bouncing balls.

Music is not bad but i kind of would like them to work on the video introduction, that goes with the music.. I remember what the Chicago bulls video intro was and always thought that was sweet... Maybe spurs can mimic something like that but put there own twist on it.
