Kobe or LeBron

Kobe.

How this even debatable?

Kobe or LeBron...

Whoever gets the ball first.

Mavs_man_41
10-17-2009, 12:18 PM
lebron. kobe has more offensive moves and could potentially win if he got the ball first but 1vs1 is usually won by the bigger player because there's no help defense and lebron could just simply overpower him straight to the cup every time

Culburn369
10-17-2009, 12:36 PM
By the time James figured it out/standing stock still just outside the arc (like he did in the playoffs), it'd be over.

don't talk to me the way you talk to your mother, and you also shouldn't use those words then kiss your mother with that mouth anyway

LeBron.

pauls931
10-17-2009, 01:11 PM
I can't stand either, but Lebron would simply overpower Kobe. Kobe would need to hit every single fadeaway to have a shot.

LOL i forgot if kobe said it, it must be true. "we had consensual sex"

10-17-2009, 04:56 PM
Lebron easily. Kobe is slowing down

JamStone
10-17-2009, 04:57 PM
LeBron.

LeBron would have a hell of a time stopping Kobe, but Kobe cannot stop LeBron at all.

But I'd also tend to agree with the post that said whoever got the ball first.

You got that rape till the end of time, I grant ya that, but, you ain't got Kobe can't ring/sans Daddy, so don't even reach for it, hoss, cuz it ain't there no more.

jejejeje!!!

Oh, but mavfan who's experience in winning at basketball is equal to zilch knows it all.

He's won just as much as you have.

LeBron would toy around with Kobe.

Bullshyt!!! Show me yours and mavfans titles? I'm a Laker fan. I financially support the team that I root for. Call it an investment. When we win a title, the city and its fans win a title. The fans are the most important part of the equation, but since you've never won a title, you cant relate. I completely understand why you and mavfan cant relate to fans who feel like the title belongs to them as much as the players. Its a team sport, and every season we send our team out to capture a title, and when they do, we throw a big party and celebrate what we've accomplished and rub it in the faces of those who don't have shit. When the US Olympic team wins the gold, we brag to other countries on how much gold WEbrought home. You never hear Americans say, "oh, they brought home the gold."

What year did you win it?
What number was your jersey?
If you don't mind, post a pic of your ring, I'm impressed!!!

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 05:55 PM
When we win a title, the city and its fans win a title.

Really??? So you lived in Minneapolis in 1949?

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 05:57 PM
but since you've never won a title, you cant relate.

If I was a Laker fan, and you were a Suns fan, are you saying the Lakers would have been worse and then Suns would have been better?

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 06:04 PM
Fifteen titles, you know the years.
Every number that was worn the year we won, you know them.
You've seen the rings, I posted them.

You said when a title is won, it's won for the city and fans. How was a title won in Minneapolis in 1949 won for LA?

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 06:20 PM
Easy. When you purchase a car, you purchase the mileage as well. You don't leave the mileage with the previous owner.

Horrible analogy. If you purchase a car someone used to successfully rob a bank, do you get all the money they successfully stole?

Mavs_man_41
10-17-2009, 06:28 PM
If its in the car, hell year. When the Sonics lost their team a few years ago, the titles were in the contract sold to the new owner who decided to move the team. Seattle has no more banners, they are in Oklahoma.

But it won't still be in the car, just like you won't be able to go back in time and experience 1949

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 06:28 PM
If its in the car, hell year.

But you've already said it wasn't in the car, you've said championships are won for the "city and fans", correct?

Chances are the city and fans wouldn't leave the 5 championships they won by your logic.

dirk4mvp
10-17-2009, 06:29 PM
Its not surprising at that mvfan and sunfan have the same understanding on this issue.

Why must you dodge my question?

DUNCANownsKOBE2

You keep making these silly statements because you know nothing about winning a title.

Yes I do. I was right there to watch the D'Backs won the world series in 2001, and I can say I did nothing to contribute to the championship and be fine with it.

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 07:13 PM
If you feel that way, then that's fine too. But why should I feel the way you do about my team?

You can feel whatever way you want, my main problem is being told my basketball knowledge is somehow lesser than someone elses because their team is better than my team.

Mavs_man_41

Exactly, I got most of my basketball knowledge from actually playing the game and winning state championships

DUNCANownsKOBE2
10-17-2009, 07:42 PM
I've never made that claim, but I will remain steadfast in you not knowing shit about the feeling of winning an NBA title. I know it hurts, I can see the anger and rage in your posts, hatred of the players, owner and city of your team. Sucks for you.

I'm fine with that to a certain extent, I'm not gonna pretend I'm fine with my team being ringless, but I could just as easily know more (or less) about basketball than you regardless of how much the Suns suck.

I'll post the nba championship rings at my house when you post the rings sitting at yours.

How do you explain the 200+ rings the Lakers purchased beyond the ones obtained for the players, coaches, and organization? The rings were were purchased for high profile fans and family members of players and organization memebers. Jack Nickelson gets a ring.

So apparently, the Laker organization feels these people have such an impact to the teams sucess that they reward them. Ill take their opinion as to what influence these people have over yours and the rest of you yahoo's anyday.
