41 so far. Wonder if it's Nelson or SJax who decided on this? Let's see if he plays all 48 minutes in a preseason game.

Morrow is a young unproven noob; Jackson is quite a veteran.

Wrong. He led the league in 3 point percentage last season. He is an excellent sharpshooter a team would want.

ETC.
It’s hardly a golden era for Warriors

Don’t be so fast to place all the blame on Stephen Jackson (left) for his behavior with Golden State. It is hardly the first time coach Don Nelson has clashed with a player, and the organization has been in disarray since the stunning first-round playoff upset of the Mavericks nearly three years ago. Jackson relinquished his captaincy last week, and then, like a betrayed child, told reporters he never enjoyed the title anyway.

Golden State has lost Baron Davis, Al Harrington, Matt Barnes, and Jason Richardson, leaving just four players - Jackson, Monta Ellis, Kelenna Azubuike, Andris Biedrins - from the 2006-07 Western Conference semifinalists. They decided to go young, but there’s one catch: Nelson despises rookies. Brandan Wright has never worked out, and now he may miss the season with labrum damage. And Anthony Randolph is immensely talented but still doesn’t have Nelson’s full confidence.

Golden State then drafted Stephen Curry, and Ellis told reporters on media day that he and Curry couldn’t play together.

So it’s a mess in Oakland, and Nellie - as usual - is in the middle of it. He has already run off general manager Chris Mullin, leaving Larry Riley to attempt to trade Jackson, who has four years left on his contract. No team, unless it has a similar malcontent or equally bad contract to send back, is going to take on Jackson. So Nellie, his arrogance unabated, is stuck with ex-Captain Jack.

Bad take by the author. Chris Mullin leaving was a good thing because this side of Isiah Thomas nobody was giving out more bad contracts than Chris Mullin was.

Also, I'm not sure where this guy is getting the idea that Nellie hates rookies, because Ellis, Azubuike and Biedrins all were getting big minutes very early into their careers.
