Sanchez with 5 picks, Collins with -7 yards passing
Can't believe the browns traded their chance at greatness

Sanchez. When you wake up that good looking, it can't be a bad day.

The Jets start is looking more and more like last years Bills start. Hell yeah this loss puts the Pats 1st in the division.

-7 yards passing? Are you fucking serious? I was at work and missed the game..I saw the final score and realized they got destroyed...but -7 yards..wow...how the fuck does that happen?

He threw a pass to a player still behind the line of scrimmage and the said player got chased back pedaling 15 yards or so. At one point Collins was -22 yards for the game.
VY was having a better passing day, yet was still on the bench and yet to complete a pass.

I was stoked that the Bills won... had me worried with that last-second FG miss.
Pats game has me psyched... I want to buy one of those classic red throwbacks now. I love those. (Even if the color "red" for Patriots is a bit funny, historically speaking.)

They need to put Vince in the game..shit..give the future a chance...he couldn't do any worse right now.

Sanchez had the better day. His 8.3 passer efficiency rating beat out Collins' 4.9.

I was thinking about getting a blue Mayo jersey... but if Meriweather keeps playing the way he is, I might get his instead.

Well, according to the Boston blog on ESPN.com, it's the first time a team has had negative passing yardage since the AFL/NFL merger.

Meriweather is a player I loved the minute we drafted him. He is easily becoming one of my favorite Patriot players. I'd get Meriweather if I were you. :hat

Meriweather is by far my favorite Patriot since he forced that fumble week 1. I liked him ever since he stomped on that guy's head in college, but he's been their defensive MVP this year and should be in the DPOY discussion.

I knew he was going to be a damn good player the minute we drafted him. It looks like this team is slowly coming together. The D has been good and the O looks like they may have finally clicked. Pats may be 4-2 but I don't see how they don't keep on improving as the season goes on.

Yeah I saw that Chung had a pick today (not hard against Young), but a good sign. I was pissed when they took him cause I wanted Lauranidis, but if he turns out good the Patriots are set at safety for a long time. Their secondary hasn't been this good since the days of Law and Harrison, and it's relatively young. I can't wait for Mayo to get healthy (and for AT to step up, if that ever happens).

Just don't expect Maroney's pathetic ass to play like this again. That was a fluke performance. :lmao

Idk why, but I haven't given up on him and don't know if I ever will. A part of me still thinks the Fragile Fred injury set him up for a breakout year. Then again, I premature ejaculated and bought his jersey a week after draft day, so I'm biased.

My friend who was watching the game told me at first it was a pass to Maroney, and I replied, "Well at least he can catch, cause he can't run for crap." :lol
Then when I found out it was a run, I said, "Hey, maybe that will get his avg up to 3.5..."

I wanted Laurinitis too; looked like he'd fit the Bruschi mold perfectly. Ah well.

Does QB passer rating make sense to anyone?
Tom Brady - 29/34 380 yards 6tds -152.8 rating
Drew Brees - 23/30 369 yards 4tds -156.8 rating
Just dumb.

Both great choices, but how bout a Gary Guyton jersey? Not a great game today, but that guy is getting better and better and is gonna be pretty badass for a long time.
Oh, and throw your Adalius Thomas jerseys in the fire, along with any memory of him signing with this team.

it's simple, anyone with a degree in fifth dimensional statistical quantum mechanics and their mother can compute it
The component for completion percentage, C, is calculated as: http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/9/b/9/9b921c229c399070cf81d1339c47a7e7.png
The component for yards per attempt, Y, is calculated as: http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/b/e/d/bed86a9148b7d99cd521f6d974bc0189.png
The component for touchdowns per attempt, T, is calculated as: http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/7/0/2/7025d942eb85a71b466da90ef29a78d9.png
The component for interceptions per attempt, I, is calculated as: http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/a/a/a/aaa627ddafb23d0399c05c087d05bc16.png
The four components are then added, divided by 6, and multiplied by 100. Thus, the formula for passer rating can be given as:

VY is the most overrated QB, Titans are pretty much fucked, build for the future, get a QB in this next years draft when they get the #1 pick. Probably get someone like McCoy or J-Clausen.

Yeah exactly. Mayo is great against the run, and he would great against the pass. Stud ILB combo for years to come, but I trust that Chung is a good pick, and if Guyton keeps playing well then they didn't really need him.

His recievers are dropping passes up the ass. They have been dropping passes on him all year. I don't know wtf?

If by "future" you mean the suicidal QB who, barring an alcoholic relapse from Collins, will never be a starter in the NFL...then yes, he is the future.

But all he did was win games at UT with his feet. All he does is win games. Rose Bowl. Reggie Bush lateral. Greatest UT QB ever. UT. Longhorns!
